Personally, I think Mokou's Flaw of Forgiving Shrine belongs here, too. can't believe an extra boss has a spell that easy, just park yourself halfway up the screen and dodge left and right.

Mountain of Faith has Suwakos first spell which can be completely misdirected, Flandre's starbow break has a safespot where you can just wait out the spell.

I'm sure there's more I could point out for several other extra bosses.

@knighttwentyk actually if you can believe it the safespot on the easy card is much bigger than the safespot on the hard or lunatic versions, or at least its been a lot easier for me to do it on easy (or even normal). The lunatic version is is literally about the size of the hitbox whereas the easy version has about a pixel or two in any direction i think.

I must say that I have more problems doing kanakos last spell (th10) on easy than on lunatic >.> the bullets are WAY slower but the shooting pattern is the same, thus they block whole your screen

And of course Sakuya's first is lol-easy (but so it is in normal too) And second spell ( i prefer hard version more than normal, don't know why) And th6 is (as you can see) my most played touhou ever. i've also played these versions: Th11, 7 8 9 10 12 and 12,8.

@Yamisquall well easy is good for beginners but when you've played it a couple of times, you'll start playing on normal. The same is with lunatic. It is nearly impossible if you haven't completed hard first.

hardest attack in th6 easy is marionette. It's sakuya's last spell and the ease mode's last too. I have dodged it on easy but on normal it's too hard. But i have dodged God Art: Vampire Illusions on Lunatic and Sakuya's other two attacks are easy even on hard and on lunatic other one i easy. only cards which are harder in easy and normal than hard and lunatic are:

It's because Sun's itself aren't whole a hitbox, just like many of the other bullets. Their hitbox should be that white bright area in the center.

Going off topic, if youve heard of Frantic 2, some freeware shoot em up game, their Frantic difficulty (the highest one in their game) is A LOT easier than any of Touhou's easy modes.

Although Frantic 2 is nothing Touhou related, i think its an even bigger insult to play that game and if that game were in Japan, that would be put in the wall of shame.

@mmm07 With a name like that, I thought no way could Frantic difficulty be that easy. Then I found the game and tried it, and it absolutely is! Though it's kind of frustrating to play, since your movement is so coarse that dodging isn't always possible even when there's a perfectly good gap next to you because you move too far and run into another bullet.

Yeah, i would admit you may not be able to beat Frantic 2 on the highest difficulty in the first or second try since the controls are kinda broken and its a flash game plus you tend to move too far and hit a bullet so i recommend playing with a mouse.

Light Sign,"Earth Cannon Ray" can also be done in normal :3 and graze A LOT! Also, Marisa has a fail non-spell card :3 After she runs away, when you met her again, you actually don't need to move (Well I was in a weird place I don't remember :\).

...keep in mind this is easy mode. lunatic does not happen to carry so many safe spots, so try not to teabag so much if you decide to be incredibly cocky on lunatic on ANY Touhou game... for most spells. One good example is that during good ol' icicle fall, where on normal difficulty she fires 5 extra bullets that happen to slaughter the safe spot.

I wish Icicle Fall was that easy on medium.

For some reason I die in the dumbest places...just played through the whole thing and I lost a life on Icicle Fall. Not to mention one during Hong's first REGULAR attack, and another on Gorgeous Sweet Flower.

And yet I can beat the rest of the game just fine.

Dunno why, but Icicle Fall and some of Hong's attacks just really trip me up, even though I do fine on the later bosses.

IN has the biggest jump in difficulty from Easy to Normal, imo, because Easy is such a joke.

On that note, I think Master Spark's pretty 9ish because the gaps in between the stars are huge, and it's easy to manipulate the laser.
