Carbon fiber, not plastic. The only plastic on the entire car is on the tail light housings, and also the interior. That's a zr1. Notice the roof is black, not white like the rest of the car? Yeah, that's the carbon fiber. Pretty legit in my opinion. And, 638 hp is kind of hard to downplay as well. Nice try though.

Its a corvette what do you expect but greatness. Alot of haters out there can hate weather its ford fans or just none chevy fans but i will always love the corvette. Set speed records and still drive it home and get dinner with the wife. The ZO6 was greatness and i am proud that they brought back the ZR1. Greater faster and just plain fun to drive. Dad bought one in gunmetal gray and its sick. Beautiful car and have driven it and only thing on it is a magnaflow exhaust. Bloody fast!

You must get your news from Fox. GM paid off their TARP loan, and they would have liked you to think that they had paid back all of it with their misleading commercials. They only just went public recently to sell more shares and cover the balance of the loan. At the tune of $50 billion, they'll be busy for a little while yet. You are correct, GM paid back the LOAN portion of the bailout, and leaving us taxpayers are on the hook for $49.5 billion dollars. I for one, cannot for get what GM did for our great country during WWII. I have owned all kinds of cars in the past and to be quite honest, they have all had similar problems, things break but if you take care of them and do regular maintenance then any car should last equally as long.
