You should remove the brake fluid because it is bad lol and from the looks of it been there for 4 years or more. Fill it up with new fluid and then bleed the brakes to get all new fresh fluid in all 4 wheels. I could have shown everyone how to do all that in like 5 minutes with $5. Shooo get away from the car.
Replace the cap back on the master cylinder? Am I the only one that seen that brake fluid? That stuff is far beyond useless. So many things wrong here....First you dont need to take fluid out of the reservoir to compress the caliper pistons. It barely goes up at all unless your calipers are ALL the way out. And you can just open the cap while you press them and put a rag around the cap. Second, yes you should remove that brake fluid with a turkey baster, but not for changing brakes.
@YourePrettyGoood Yep, I agree to an extent. The reason for removing break fluid at ALL is simply because places like to "top off" the fluid. If your caliper pistons are out enough that the level is low and then top it off. When you compress the piston the extra added fluid will leak out. Thats really the only reason.
Okay, once you have the personality implant ready make sure the speech cadence is normal and has inflections or people will discover youre just a robot.
fuck man label your videos like step 1, step 2 etc. Holly fuck i went through all of your videos and one video youll be chaning the brake pads, then the other youll be taking off the tire :S
well at least they are putting out videos for free!! I was gonna pay the mechanic $380 for labor alone to replace my brakes and and wheel cylinders!!! rip off mechanics, I did it myself after watching the videos. it cost me $60 for parts....
This guy obviously doesnt know what hes doing. First keep it clean, second go ahead and buy mighty vac or similar bleeder. For me its worth the cost on bmw! I can only emagine what they charge. Maybe this guy is treating this car bad because it does suc.
People, this is not the right way to do it! Calipers should never be compressed without first loosening the bleeder screw allowing old fluid to exit at the caliper. Then the system should be bled after repairs are completed. If you simply compress the caliper, the old nasty contaminated fluid will be forced back into the sensitive valves of the master cylinder and perhaps lead to unexpected total hydraulic brake system failure. You never really need your brakes untill you have to suddenly stop.
one thing you guys are not noticing is the air filter housing was full of dust he put the cap on it and is putting it back on without wiping it off, not good the particles will eventually clog the cylinder or lines and will need to be replaced earlier than if not place on the housing,,,good job expert village,,,NOT
Once you have removed the left arm with a machette, you want to remove the leg on the same side. this makes it easy to roll the body to repeat these steps on the other side.
Knocking? Uh oh, the police are here. I have to go folks.
They go to the brake caliper which I believe are at the end of the brake lines. You take the proper size wrench and open the bleeder so brake fluid will come out.
scary dude.....serial killer robot??? AI is real.

v7nf 3 years ago
Omg, hes not draining the brake fluid system. He's just removing enough so that when the pistons are depressed that it doesnt overflow.

But that will not remove all of the brake fluid there will still be more old brake fluid inside the master cylinder and brake lines.
