Personally, I think this is the better one over the Cocoon version and they should have chosen the Pulse version as the song included in the Duodecim DLC, but again, each to their own. @swordfish1390 I said the same thing a long time ago. If you ask me, Nobuo Uematsu is kind of losing his touch today. Most of what I've heard from him these days just doesn't sound that great anymore. That's why I'm glad that they are giving new, younger composers a chance. Not like Masashi Hamauzu is a new composer or anything. After all he studied classical music and what not, so he knows what he's doing.

This is probably the best track on the entire FF13 soundtrack. Partly because it's the only FREAKING ONE WE KNOW. Besides, jazz fusion makes my soul happy.

The gameplay is starting to go in the right direction (the old was beginning to get stale, regardless of my 16th play through VII...) but the music does indeed have some work to do. This is not the best musical job that's been done, but I'm extremely proud that he made the song his own instead of just standing on the shoulders of greatness.

@marchingtrojans Yeah fair enough. It's not the best final fantasy i've ever played (IX fills that void) but it was a terrific game. And to be honest, i think VII was one of the most overrated games ever. I personally prefer XIII to VII, but the musical score of XIII is one of the best- apart from the music tracks they SHOULD have put in. Such as, the victory theme and prelude. But i think IX is the best ff out :D

hey guys, about that Leona lewis thing: your' absolutely right, the Japanese song was WAY better, BUT the Song of Lewis works great in the way it is introduced in this game.
