  • Narruto !? :O

  • so total is 3 hour?

  • looks delicious.

do you think it matters what kind of rice cooker you have to make this?

i have a standard aroma, hinged top with just a cook, warm and delay button.

  • This voice and accent... I know it from "Yakitate!! Japan" (anime about bread) :D

idk if its the same guy or not.

  • いやコレ普通に作った方が旨いし早いでしょ。

    夏休みの自由研究にはいいかもね。

  • That 6/8 waltz 50's music was just perfect too!

  • This made me hungry for rice-cooker-made bread =F

  • たったこれだけってwww 朝準備してお昼にやっと食べられるんだね^^;

  • All cooking videos should have this cheerful uplifting music!!

  • Azuma should make a Cookbook out of these Recipies.

  • lol i can imagine that it must taste like a buttery white bread.

if i were to try this i'm sure that i'd burn the bread and ruin my rice cooker.

  • I watched this video a long time ago, but I just realized I have that exact same rice cooker. Yay! I'm going to make myself some bread now.

  • When you dissolve the yeast in water, does that mean you take some of the water from 180cc out?

  • @vaiol123

I think yeast is mixed in 3/4 cup of warm water

then u put extra 180cc of water to dough

  • i tried and it work but i added cocoa powder and it nearly came out... as a choco bread.. i think..

  • 3 hours is not suprising, bakers wake up very early to bake fresh bread

    quite a hard job really

  • BUY a bread maker!!!

  • I tried it and its REALLY tasty! Perfect stickiness and fluffyness and the taste is awsome!

and you can get the same result with a regular "bread-machine"

  • lol its yakitate japan !

  • Holy fuck! I'm not going to waiit 5 hours for BREAD!

and the girl voice is all OMFG BREAD SERIOUS BIZZUNEZZ

  • I'm afraid of what kind of reaction I'll get from eating this. Also, solar hands is cheating!

  • What setting do you use on the rice cooker? Mine has settings for white, brown, sweet, and porridge.

  • more than 3 hours of cooking time = too long!

  • CC are mililiters.

  • what is CC?

  • @Lamperouge92 CC = cubic centimetres.

  • that not even rice. that like a cake.

  • Nice!!! When I got the 'solar hands', I wanna makes a lot of delicioooooous-so breads!!!

  • that chick sounds like shes about to fight someone lol

  • @fundude53 Who, the narrator? That's Kazuma Azuma, and that's a dude. He IS voiced by a woman, though.

  • @fundude53

    Though, it's a guy. :)

    Hahah

  • @fundude53 She wasn't doing the narration. It was Azuma. Or if you don't know the anime series, the main character of the series...

  • Hmmm, guess I'll have to try it...but I have a bread maker, would that speed up baking process? Hmmmm, bread maker does not make round shape so rice maker it is.

  • yakitatae japan!! azuma kazuma

  • HAHahahaha best narration ever

  • omg

  • japan #2 haha

  • aaarrrggghhh i wanna try it!! haha i love this anime hehehe...

  • the voice is so obnoxious lol

  • coool. i wanna try:D

  • its bread...don't you know what kind of ingredients go into bread? this is a sweet bread..

  • lol, this is kool

my friend has a japanese rice cooker

    better try that xD

  • This guide is from a Japanese anime called Yakitate Japan. Thus the "angry" voice, since its the main character speaking.

Its a good anime by the way :)

  • don't you understand that it's enthusiasm? apparently you don't...

  • forgot what i said...enlighten me would you? Probably about the narrator being freakishly excited about baking bread...?

  • #1 more people should have more enthusiasm for things they love.

#2 you said it was the angriest narrator ever.

  • lol

  • I think it was that dude from Yakitate Japan or something like that. e_o;

  • Azuma Kazuma!

  • Wait until 2 hours for The fermentation, after that you bake 3 hours.

  • i dont understand?erm after i shaped it do i haf to wait for 1hrs then put it into the rice cooker?pls replyT_T

  • yakitate ja-pan!

  • what's the measurements in cups and tbsps and that stuff...? i forgot what its called x.x

  • the disaster happened when i finally turned on the rice cooker. mine is the old-school one, with only 'cook' and 'warm', and after 15 minutes it switched to 'warm', so i tried to make it cook again. after a while i smelled burning so i turned it off to flip it over, only to find out it had burned stuck to the bottom. i had to dig out all the uncooked dough and shape it into a parisienne and stick it into my oven. but whatever that was cooked and sticking to the pot, was really, really nice.

  • hahahah, isn't that from Yakitate Japan?! lol, Ima try it.

  • i dnt really have dry yeast...is there something that i can replace it with? O_O?

  • instant yeast. saves lots of time and turns out just as nicely as dry yeast.

  • which episode this clip came from?

  • Episode 27: Let's All Make Bread Together! It's Ja-Pan #2!

  • For the people who are too lazy to try this because they think that they need to be cooking for 3 hours, you actually really cook for at most 30 min. The rest is inactive cooking time.

  • Hm, I've never tried it, but since I'm a breadivore I wanna eat some now! But I don't have a rice cooker T_T And it sounds so good, too! *sob*

  • Was so hard lol. Wound up burning it in our rice cooker =[. Takes very long time to make but seriously guys check it when its baking cause some rice cookers are way hotter then others, ours burned it in like 25 mins T_T

  • More like 5 hours. :) But if you want fresh bread, don't have an oven and there's no bakery within range, why not? :)

Of course, the type of bread's the main problem. Can't really use bread like this for slicing and toasting. Perfect, though, for on the side to tear off a hunk to sop up your soup or pasta sauce.

  • so I have to spend 3 hours cooking for bread, wow! amazing

  • Bread is a lengthy process, its truly an art form.

  • You haven't even tasted it, you narrow-minded twat.

  • I was surprised that I need to cook for 3 hours! That's all! You better read it well next time before you scold someone.

  • sorry, I was talking to RealTyphoon

  • Oh, my bad.

I thought you were being sarcastic and stuff like that. :P

  • I was wondering if anyone'd uploaded this yet... Saves me the trouble. Thanks!

  • holy crap that takes a long time to make... the time to cook it takes tooooooo long... but I still want to make it one day.

  • Very funny!

  • I have a bread machine, but I'm getting a rice cooker soon, and I may just have to try this.

  • tat was cool

  • lol gona try that out :P

  • oh my god! but this is no bread !! ahaha

  • I gave it a go and it was really good :0)

  • the video is sooo COOOL

  • Nice video ^O^
