in the end the hippies were right! im sure you guys received hate posts all the time but now that the monster has come for its master maybe now people will see its people like yourselves who were not only right but do offer legimate lifechanging ideas that are good for everyone- even though the hour is late there is still time to make that great leap foward! hopefully we can take this tragedy and turn it into the spark for a better future

I have, for years, feared what might happen if one of these offshore rigs ruptured or sank. Even so, I simply hoped that those in charge of the drilling would tell us if the risks were too high when taking into consideration the rewards. I should have known better, and I apologize for not at least voicing my concern. I will remain silent no longer.

Good attempt but everyone who sees this or comments should really be pledging to STOP USING FOSSIL FUELS. Nothing will change as long as WE the consumers keep demanding gas and oil and coal. Period.

This is a fine sentiment but should be accompanied by an acceptance of nuclear power - the safest and cleanest choice. Coupled with a real efficiency drive and a ever growing tax on oil we would have a genuine chance for a clean and green future. Let's build, baby, build.

thank you for posting and i hope we make more videos that show the wind and solar visuals as well. they are light years ahead of us overseas in that more of them are using alt. energy. it's time we move forward. thank you for posting something that tells people we dooo have alternatives. i've found many here on you tube. search under "wind turbines" and "solar energy."

@mc1057 what's your point? Do you think the massive oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico is just a scam? Or perhaps floating oil is just like chocolate syrup to a dolphin or turtle. Even a moron like Palin has to know the utter devastation this is going to leave on the wildlife of that area. It's sickening and it's criminal, unfortunately BP will not pay... we will (at the pump) and the animals will (with their lives)! The point of this Ad is: NO MORE EXPANSION OF OFFSHORE DRILLING... PERIOD !
