He started training with his uncle at age 8 had his first match age 15, wrestled in aaa,wcw,all over japan and mexico, he wrestled as a heel(bad guy) in wcw unmasked for a bit in a tag team called the filthy animals then when he got to wwe he put the mask back on and vince made money off of it.
