Senor Jerry!!!!!......behind the beat....just behind the beat.....after it...just after it.....right smack dab on it!!!!!!....changed my life and you still change my life. remind me i'm alive. thankfully yours still truckin' making me smile and bustahmove with handmade heartbred tunage.OLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Keystone will forever be where I was when I got on the bus! The Grateful Dead were awesome but Jerry and Merl shows were so intimate beyond words. Jerry had to walk through the crowd to get to the stage and more than once I felt him brush by me. I loved the arcade in the back room and the theater seats upstairs. And it was only $4 to get in. The owners of the Keystone were really nice folks too. Never a bad show ever!
Nice! Saw Jerry and Merl for the "Live at Keystone" sessions in '73 and then Legion of Mary at the Fox Theater in Venice CA in '74 and was blown away... Jerry has always been a big part of my 'Experience Years'...
Wow! I've been hearing Jerry for 35 years and now I hear things in these solo's that I've never heard him do!!! And his chording & fills are stupid good! He must've been in love!!!
i have been a casual GD listener my entire life as my dad was a rather devoted dead head. Im just this month hearing all this amazing garcia/ saunders shows, and i am loving it. THANK YOU YOUTUBE!
this is rather sick. thanks OneMattyMatt.....i moved to Berkeley in 75...would walk up the street to the Keystone....shhhhhh. a small blackhole of a club. with a real high stage for a squat. Sound guaranteed to steal your face everytime! Garcia was ALWAYS lit at the Keystone. gracias. Bruce the Moose

Calling something sick is certainly a generation apart from Jerry's, but it certainly is.

@andy23822 No one can sound like JG but others can make the guitar sound equally as good. Jerry is the man.
