  • I love this video. And I SO want to read this series.

  • @JayFeatherIV ...Actually, your timing is excellent- we have the first Volume online now for free! Er... It's not letting me post the link, but go to our website, then go to graphic novels, Volume 1, and there should be a little button there that says free. And that will lead you to ANOTHER ADVENTURE, I trust you can find your way from there. E )

  • @dreamkeeperscomic

I actually read it not long after I posted the comment. I followed the link on the commercial. I LOVE this series! You guys ROCK!!!

  • It certainly deserves to be on TV I can say this much, and the plot is remarkable, but it does not suit Disney unfortunately. Its way to graphic. I'd say another company that allows all the gore in this.

  • Video favorited! ^-^ I've been reading the prelude web comic as well. Such. awesome. stuff. Must... continue.... drawing!

  • -sits and watches- wow love it, love you guys, and love the song choice

  • im sending out a order for both books today i cant wait

  • wow, thats a good intro for a tv show. I love the comic and can't stop reading volume 1 and 2 after i got them in the mail a few days ago.

  • cant wait to get the books

  • @RyoStorm,

    I have similar feelings. :)

  • Ah, Dreamkeepers.....this comic inspired me to start drawing again instead of writing. I love this graphic novel saga to nightmarish pieces (i.e. nightmares in pieces)!

Currently relearning how to draw amateurish things and continuously improving on the design and drawing of my personal Dreamkeeper. Reeeeally need to get my hands on a good drawing tablet though. Any suggestions?

  • @NightHunterClaws Hmm - I haven't used a wide variety of tablets, so my advice isn't much. But the one tablet I have used, a Wacom tablet, has been working awesome for me for a couple years now, so that one definitely gets a thumbs up. 8 ) Also, thank you for the nice post, it's great to hear that we're helping to inspire!

  • @dreamkeeperscomic i swear if it werent for the fee's it takes to read these comics, i would truley become a fan.

  • This is by far one of the best comics on the internet. I've downloaded the graphic novels and enjoy every part of them. I can't wait for the rest of the series. Whatever inspired Dreamkeepers, may it continue to inspire and bring hapiness to you both.

  • @ShoryuKano DK's focus is a graphic novel series for now - we do have a few personal animations for it though, whenever we get a little more spare time we plan on uploading them. 8 )

  • @dreamkeeperscomic Now THAT would be interesting to see! I have yet to see a popular webcomic go anime, and the montage shows me quite some amazing potential for this one! Zipang was a graphic novel, and IT went anime, though it wasn't as popular as some graphic novels today that haven't gotten as far as Zipang. I think this one just might go the distance! Who knows, might even spur on some good anime competitors...

  • @dreamkeeperscomic you guys should do an animated series or at least side/bonus story.

  • @dreamkeeperscomic

Yeah, that would be nice to see.

  • Another truly great montage for a dreamkeepers montage is

Stone sour- say you'll haunt me,

    I think that'll rock.

  • I recently dicovered the Prelude and then heard about the Graphic Novel Saga and I will get it (once I get paid) and I have to say you have amazing art skills dont overlook it it will take you far. Im not an artist but I do write but thats unimportant I must say im glad I found it I cant wait to read. I guess its true "if you dont click you wont know!" Glad I clicked alot can be lost by a simple refusal.

  • your gona update it when the 3 book gets out?

im a new reader, im gona buy both books when i can aford them, i hope i one day can reash your level of art

(sory about my grama im from denmark)

    P.S. LOVE YOUR ART X3

  • @bio419 I'm not sure if we're going to update the Youtube videos when Volume 3 comes out - maybe we'll make a new one if we have time though, that'd be fun! 8 ) Either way, thank you very much for finding and enjoying our work - and best of luck with your art, if you practice hard you'll definitely improve! 8 ) Thank you again for the kind comments!

  • this Dreamkeeper comic.ii was wondering where can i read it for free or where to download it.if not, then ah well

  • This series needs more exposure. Now. With the resources of a big studio/company behind it, it could be very big -- hell, it WILL BE big. Just got (and read) the first two books via digital download yesterday, and it already has that tight of a grasp on my imagination.

Still, it'd be cool to see the TV pitch in its entirety (if we didn't see the whole thing throughout this montage).

And Namah always looks so frickin' cool, especially in this 'animated comic' style.

    Eagerly awaiting V3!

  • @angrytigerP However if a big publishing company were to get involved, most likely will the series be changed to "fit a wider audience".

  • @angrytigerP

I don't think that he will go to another big company/publisher. If you read the foreword in volume one you will see that he broke away from his first one because they were trying to water down what he had visualized for the comic itself, thus he broke away and started vivid publishing. But no, what he needs is not a large company backing him. what he needs is a good street team. a group of people to spread the word about the comic and help it get out there.

  • Best drawn comic i have ever read cant wait too buy the rest truly the best i have ever seen

  • Can (please) we expect to see more animation clips somewhere down the line?

  • damn

now that really was wonderfull! Somehow it reminds me a bit on the book i am writing.

Now i only need to get some cash to finally buy your graphic novels.

Keep up the great work, you have a new fan! :-)

  • DreamKeepers...Television...

    ...

Now THAT'S something that I would watch. The graphic novels are badassery in series of stills -- With actual animation, the possibilities would be endless...!!

    ...

And Namah's just perfect for animated movement -- Pretty much everything she does winds up looking like a badass pose, even when she's just sitting on top of a rock. X3

DreamKeepers has stolen my heart. And I don't want it back, 'cuz it's in good hands.

  • this is amazing! ive only been able to read the prelude but even so its a great comic. you mentioned tv clips in the info. was Dream Keepers going to be a show?

  • awesome every single time i watch it

  • Guys, the artwork and website continue to look spectacular. Good to see you branching out to youtube and other networks online. Awesome to see some drawings turned into animation. Hope you guys are super successful. You deserve it.

  • Woo! =D Definitely piques my interest! 'Course, I'm already gettin' Volume 1 soon as I got money. =P But if I were on the fence, this would push me over onto the right side.

  • Yep! I'm completely enthralled by Dreamkeepers, though I haven't been able to pick up the books, yet. Just keep spreading the word!

  • in time this comic will grow more epic

also people telling others about this comic.

  • what kind of backround do you have? I just recently discovered you and your wonderful art. Honestly, it left me speechless. The awesome colors and the wonderful expressions. I envy you! I can tell that Im going to be a fan of you (two?) and your awesome artwork for a loooooonnngggg time.

From your newest fan, aspiring artist and united states marine.

  • Oh thank you, you're very kind! 8 ) My background is from drawing nonstop as a kid, then a 'Media Studies' degree from art college, which was crushingly expensive and not too helpful. I worked a bit as an animator, studio and freelance, and rapidly retired to make comics. And here I am. 8 )

  • Heh You definitely deserve it. The way your colors simply paint emotion in your art is amazing! You do what Bill Watterson did with water colors with photoshop and digital art. I am a big fan of Calvin and Hobbes myself, but I think you may surpass the mastermind himself. I am really really REALLY happy I discovered you and your guys's art (I keep forgetting theres two of you XD)

  • @dreamkeeperscomic,

    I have a question,

what is the estimated release date of volume 3 (I'm dying to see It),

and will the upcoming volumes be released faster than the previous 2 now that I'm hearing your comics are officially gaining momentum?

  • @XboxFreakboy Hello,

Thanks for the interest in V3! 8 ) I don't want to issue a solid release date just yet, (It'll be our biggest book to date.) But it's looking like subsequent books are definitely going to be coming out faster. 8 D

  • @dreamkeeperscomic,

    Awesome, thanks. :)

  • Wow... I really hope that DreamKeepers becomes a TV show. I think it would be great. Keep up the amazing work David and Liz!

  • PRO!! I want to get both novels soon.

  • Freaking awesome! Glad to see Dreamkeepers on youtube :D Keep up the good work you guys, love your comic!

  • WHOA WHOA WHOA WAS THAT ANIMATION AT 00:50!?

What have you been hiding from us, David?!

Grawr, why does your work have to be so cloddamn epic. And you animate it to be MORE so.

I'm so glad I found that link to you on the Lackadaisy site all those years ago.

  • whoa very coolies

  • WOOOOOO!! Dreamkeepers rules!

  • Hey Dave!

I never knew you had made an animation pitch.

That's would be an amazing media for Dreamkeepers, and I hope it comes to light someday.

  • im so glad you got vids on youtube now, can't wait to see more, and i would love to see those animations more, but ya great video

  • Incredible. Well done.

  • This was pretty damn sweet. I didn't know you had an animation pitch; the clips were really cool.
