  • Great review, thanks.

  • I wonder if you still have a free copy of Born to Run. I recently started barefoot running.!

  • I read born to run

  • But I have nice and soft feet, what would barefoot running do to my feet? But I would like to be able run faster and longer without hurting knees. McDougall seems to have something interesting to say and I'm courious to learn if what he has to say can help me as well as motivate me.

  • @cosmogbg Yes to both of your concerns

  • Just heard an interview with McDougall on NPR this afternoon about his book. I love to run barefoot on grass but i have bunions on my feet that give me trouble when i run long distances in shoes, maybe i should ditch the shoes. I'm excited to read this book!

  • I read about this guy and his experience with running in Men's Health magazine and his story is amazing. As a retired chiropractor I can attest that wearing expensive high tech shoes is a disaster and causes injuries. The human ankle/foot is the most complicated compound joints in our body and all the ligaments and tendons must participate in walking and running to keep the foot and ankle supple, strong and healthy.
