@niranga123 No body has copied anything here... The song was composed by "Raj" for the Canadian Tamil Film "1999" and sung by S.P Balasubramanium. Then Raj did the sinhala version with Kasun, which is "Sanda Mithuri".... thats it... and by the way "Raj" is a Sri Lankan.

It is fact that, if you listened to the Sinhalaese version first and fell in love with that over a good period of time, original versions of other languages don't trigger your taste buds the same way. For me many Jothipala songs are better than Rafi's..for the same reason. It is just an illusions of our own, how we fall in love with artistic things.
