  • Chanel made the women fashion changes so fast

  • ♥ !!!

  • what is the music playing..is it Debussy?

  • Shocking how much through you could see on what the lady was wearing during period 1920. I didn't expected to seeing that, yet that couldn't be how everyone dressed during that time, right? Or else it was really nice to watching the changes. I liked best the way they dressed before 1900, and in the start of 1900. ;-) :-)

  • @SylviaPenguin Haha you're right, most people in 1920 were probably very modest! But I chose it mostly because it kind of represents the beginning of the flapper trend and the younger, post-WWI generation's take on sexuality. Most of these pictures are just glamorous fashion portraits and might not be totally accurate to what everyday women wore, but they are beautiful and educational nonetheless. Oh and I agree with you about the Victorian fashions. So much elegance.

  • @AJVGirl Remember they called it the 'ROARING 20's!'. Grandma was hot as a poker.

  • Amazing :) everything had changed so fast.

  • it's so weird how much fashions change, in such a short space of time. Very interesting, nicely done!

  • I totally agree! Thank you for stopping by!

  • I wonder if you're so familiar with corset-dressing of Victorian era, those were absolutely lovely!. I can't find any dress with so :(.

  • Some stuff, yeah. Like how they used to have fainting rooms with couches for corseted women who wanted to take a breather. Since corsets squeezed their ribs and insides!
