While I certainly don't mind TNT's 24-hour A Christmas Story marathon, I think we do need MonsterVision back.There was something about watching a monster movie late at night with some friends in your basement that just...felt right.

Same thing goes for watching MST3K with friends.

i think it was 94 but i dont remember it being on-and I usually watched monstervision. What sux is I always wanted to see the giant claw and from hell it came-and they aired them on tnt when i as a kid i didnt even know! I didnt see either of those movies until i was in my 20's.

the cyclops, the giant claw, From Hell it came and the Werewolf are some of the ones they are showing in the christmas marathon. There are too many to name in the montage footage but some of them are The Time Machine, the Thing From another world and of course, the giant bunny classic: Night of the Lepus.

What's the werewolf film at :29? I've seen it, its really different from other werewolf films. Anyone know the title?

it's simply called "the Werewolf" and it's from the 50's- i forget how-but in it ,the wolfman becomes a wolfman becuase of a scientific rather than a supernatural reason-sort of like in I was a Teenage werewolf which makes it abnormal for a werewolf movie.

TNT was fun back in the 90's. All that changed around 1999/2000 when relaxed cable rules made buy outs and mergers with large studios possible. That's what happened to TNT, and TBS, basically. But I love these and thanks so much for posting them Saturday nights were alot of fun then.

man, I miss monstervision. ahh the memories. I remember watching monstervision every Saturday because there was always an interesting movie to watch. Joe Bob Briggs made it even better when he hosted later on. TNT nowadays tries too hard to be taken seriously by showing all those drama shows.

Anyone remember Joe bob riggs on monstervision. I always looked forward to it. I think it lost rating when it started adding people like scantily clad females. His little quips is what made the show by himself.
