  • She looks awesome for 91

  • its confusing christians and all the religion who follow the bible say theyre demons pretending to be good, and the wiccans says theyre good but there are bad.. urr so hard to understand how these things work, but i guess inside i belive more in the bible because im pissing myself here

  • 5:53 - 6:33

    well said

  • I am interested in the structure this woman speaks of. It's one of the more hierarchical structures I've heard of. There are so many versions which I like. I like the idea of a faith being adaptable to a group or individual.

But I would have said the one rule in Wicca is you do not harm others. Ever. Not physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. "An it harm none do what ye will".

And oh my heart goes out to Barbara and anyone else who has lost a child. It is the saddest thing ever!

  • I like this woman!

  • I ask the Lady and the Lord, for the sincerest blessing for her Daughter. And for her and her son to cope with the loss, and that they may find peace.

  • i wish there was one of thies in Washington (america)

  • I was raised in a Christian household, saved at 17..but my ENTIRE life I've been interested in Paganisim, and when I found Wicca I studied. never "converted" , for lack of a better term..But the main reason I studied it was to understand it. I keep an open mind and try to learn as much as I can. because in my opinion, closed minds should come with closed mouths. I have a few friends who are Wiccan as well. But I do feel a strong connection to Wicca. Blessed be to you all :)

  • @TheDixielandDiva Good for you. Reading is good and I do the same thing. There are some great sites around and good books too. I'm trying to set up a network for people like us. A way to connect with others and have honest discussions about such things. Even if that discussion leads you somewhere else. :)

  • thanks for sharing lovelly world

  • I think that this is so beautiful and interesting! I'm a Unitarian Universalist with my roots in Christianity, but what she does is so interesting. I'm also from NJ so that helps. haha

  • F THE ILLUMINATI :)

  • Do people in England/Ireland actually wear cloaks, or is this outfit just a Wicca thing? Or an eccentric thing? I would love to wear a cloak, but it, sadly, kind of falls under antiquated clothing...not modernly acceptable...

  • @in2ennui Where to begin. Hmmm. People nowadays rarely wear cloaks in public (not exactly the "fashion" of the year). Not only Wiccans wear cloaks. I am a Celtic Shamanic practitioner, and I wear a cloak (I'll tell you where soon), though many Pagans choose to go skyclad, or naked in ritual. I would recommend that you wear a cloak at night in a non-urban area, so few if any people will notice. Now, my cloak was bought from gryphonsmoon(dot)com, for $60 - it's the cheapest I've ever seen online.

  • @celticbattleaxe Its unfortunate people don't wear them anymore... Unfortunately, I live in the city and it would be ridiculous to visit remote locations just so I can wear a cloak! I do appreciate the information though, it is very kind of you:)

  • @in2ennui Well, people do - but only some Witches, Wiccans, Shamans, etc. A good portion go skyclad in ritual, but yes; in public, I have yet to see ANYONE wear a cloak (except as Halloween paraphernalia). I am fortunate to live in a fairly rural area, with a 900 acre Nature preserve in my front yard, and relatively few people around. But hey, if you ever become part of a coven, feel free to where one - if, of course, they allow it (some do, some don't).

  • @in2ennui The info took me awhile to find myself, and I had to do some digging to find the cheapest prices for the highest quality. I couldn't believe that Gryphonsmoon was selling them at about half the price of most other sites, so naturally, I snagged one myself :). $60 is quite a nice deal.

    Blessed be times Three! )O( )O( )O(

    - Bréinann

  • @in2ennui Many other sites will sell equally good robes and cloaks, but at a much higher price. Gryphonsmoon is the cheapest I've seen. Anyhow, my cloak is reversible, green-black, with intricate Celtic knots and a pentagram in the middle (on both sides). There is also a blue-black variety for the same price, if you like. You could also resort to making one yourself, though I suck at making such things - I figured that out the hard way :)

    So, Blessed be, always! )O( )O( )O(

  • @in2ennui wiccans tend to wear cloaks/robes during rituals, but its not a necessity.

  • @in2ennui we dont live in the stone age so no

  • love the video! completly understand where she is coming from.

  • I don't know if you read these comments sister but *hugs* my condolances on your daughter. It is never easy losing a loved one, especially a child. Goddess bless sister, may you see her again in the Summerland or in the next life )O(

  • That poor woman! I parent should never have to out-live her child.

  • heartbreaking;-(

  • I like witches...They seem a lot kinder and less judgmental than other religious groups.

  • @NurulFCox Why thank ya<3 It comes from thousands and thousands of years of hate. :D

  • @LookinForMoon it's nice..

  • DO A WEB SEARCH ON:

    charles h. miranda OR:

    THANKS.

  • Such a beautiful woman. :-)

  • I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your daughter ...i am watching this little series of videos and is so beautiful ...i long to meet Olivia Robertson i learnt of her in a dream and then found her on the internet ,,, .,,,,i hope you are well going now to watch part three ..thankyou for posting these blessed be ,,,,

  • Some people hug trees, some people hug ancient stones.

  • I wish I was related to this woman! I'm the only Pagan in my family (since a couple of centuries). Blessed be, all! )0(

  • i am catholic to and a practising witch

  • I find it very sad with her daughter. No-one needs to go through that.Ever.

  • @mrsangellover I dont think we should say wicca was created in the 50's. the more appropriate term would be it was brought back in the 50's.

  • @ghosthunter135 Totally agree with you!! Blessed be! )0(

  • @ghosthunter135 You'd be dead wrong there boss. It was invented by Gardener, as a mix and mash of lots of elements from various different traditions. There was no Wicca before Gardener.

  • @billymagfhloinn Wicca wasn't invented by Gardner. He brought back the Old Religion in another, more modern form.

  • Comment removed

  • @billymagfhloinn Are you telling yourself that?

We all know that Wicca is a blend and is eclectic by itself. Gardner founded the religion as a branch of Witchcraft in the 40s-50s.

You cannot invent a religion; it is discovered.

  • @celticbattleaxe Alright, I'll let it go. Arguing on the internet brings out the worst in me. Best of luck to you.

  • @billymagfhloinn Well then, sorry if my comments offended you somehow. All that I am stating is what is known to me as fact. Watch 'Wicca Traditions' by OathBoundSecrets and you'll see what I mean.

  • @billymagfhloinn Most untrue and unreached piece of info EVER. Wicca (in various forms) can be traced back before history. Shesh. Ever read these things called books?

  • @LookinForMoon Paganism can be traced back in various forms in history. Christianity was at one time a pagan religion-at least the Romans thought so.

  • @latexima i thought romans where pagen

  • @barrow29 at the time, "the Christ" which itself is poorly adapted from another Latin word (roughly translated means-"chosen one" and was not his actual last name) and his followers were seen as a new pagan cult. To the Romans, if you didn't worship Zeus and his crew, you were a pagan. Christianity has not been the ruling religion throughout history. It was only after the Christians all but destroyed the other religions that the Roman pantheon became considered a pagan religion.

  • @latexima ah you learn some thing new every day

  • @latexima Yeah, isn't it cool?

  • @ghosthunter135 That would be misleading. Wicca was created from ideas, pieces of occidental magick, Crowley's smanderings and a few other things. Wicca did not exist until the 50's. There were smaller pagan practitioners and such but not Wicca as it is officially. It was not the religion of the Celts or anything.

  • @latexima thats where you are wrong, Wicca *the name* was ctreated in the 50's yes BUT witchs...pagans was 1000's & 1000's years older so there for your created ideas that you claim that Wicca was is wrong.

  • @ghosthunter135 No, it was CREATED in the 50's, by Gerald Gardner, and likely heavily influenced by Alistair Crowley. Wicca is new. Ancient Paganism is not. Regardless, that is irrelevant; if an individual finds meaning and happiness within Wicca, why does it matter that it's less than 100 years old? The purpose of a faith should be to enrich and invigorate one's life; the age of that faith doesn't matter if it fulfills the purpose.

  • @greysquare7 Perhaps we should say this FORM was set up in the 50's. It changes continually and is different for every person so I'm not sure we could say "Wicca was created in the 50's", just one form of it was. :) I am interested Wicca because it's so adaptable.

  • @ghosthunter135 That is so true! This was a way of life thousands of years ago....its in our blood(:

    Blessed Be )0(

  • the religion of a seed.

  • The story about Barbara's daughter brought me to tears, that girl was so pretty and still so young. And to me it is so true that in such times of need to find the stength in your religion. I hope it helped her to know that her Child is with the Goddess now, who is a mother herself and that she found comfort in the mother's loving arms herself. And ofc the God too for he too knows about the circle of life and death.

  • @MrsAngelLover you are such a beautiful soul ,,,your comment shows me that you are so caring ...and wise :)

  • Mistletoe and Pumkins are far older than Wicca, which was created in the 1950's but I guess you mean that they have pagan roots. And you are right most Wiccan do respect other people with other faiths but there are also some that feel grudge against Christians, especially if they left Christianity and became Wicca. I have to say, I was one of them when I first started in 2002 and laft Christianity myself. But with the time I evolved and now I can easily accept them even if they do not accept me

  • I believe that anyone should be able to celebrate any religion they want to, no matter what it is. Now I don't see any of the people in Wicca being cross or be harsh to people who are Jewish or Catholic or any other religion. Even if you aren't a Witch or in Wicca, you should practice this one aspect of Wicca. We do things that came through Wicca without even knowing it. Mistletoe, putting out pumpkins on Halloween, that all came from Wicca. So learn what you are talking about before you judge.

  • Her daughter was so beautiful.

  • I feel very blessed to have viewed this program, and to have felt the love & passion of such wonderful souls. (Thanks for posting)

    G.

  • The only thing ruining 1:52 is the Electrical Pylon. :\

  • thats horrible about her daugther

  • very strong women

  • @BudsPeter44 Wicca DOES'NT worship the devil. Its witchcraft that does. Wicca is all about God and the environment. You really need to do more research.

  • @magi646

Well, witchcraft is often used in Wicca. By Wiccan definition witchcraft is the craft of working in harmony with our Earth. Even growing plants is witchcraft :) But I definitely agree with you, it's so annoying when people tell us what's wrong with our "devil-worshipping" religion. Why would they even start such an argument when as soon as they say that it proves how little they know ? Blessed be, :) xo

  • how funny, she said it would be easy to be Christian and go with the will of God ! I can see why she turned Wicca, she had no clue on how to be a Christian.

  • @BudPeters44 Explain to me this, why do you come here and insist on posting several comments about a video when you don't believe in it? You're not spreading God's word. You're spreading hatred and annoyance. So please stop. Thank you.

  • @BudPeters44 u noe ... the more i see what christians comment , the more i think god is weird n a jerk... hmmm ... and christians keep changing the bible so that they can say god made this n that ...

  • @d3vilnaruto why bother reading it then lol..soon you will will have a reason to say that..like when your begging him for mercy and he cannot hear you cause you waited to long to realize how stuck on ignorant and willing ignorant you are..peace

  • @BudPeters44 lol , trust me , i wont beg , he can send me to hell for all i care , any way , i dun believe in hell ... nor heaven

  • @BudPeters44

Don't say it's "funny why she turned Wicca, she had no clue on how to be Christian." Because you know what else is just pretty damn HILARIOUS? How much you are ranting, preaching, and commenting about what's so "wrong" about Wicca, when you have no clue how to be Wiccan.

  • @BudPeters44 LMAO you are a joke..... and by the way show me the prof about what you say about Anton Lavey.... oh wait you can't..... LMAO

    jesus saves LOL

  • @The1911X ...we will soon see..that same God you laugh at..you will be begging for mercy for..and just like Anton Lavey and others..you will go down screaming..enjoy your life here cause that is as good as you will get.Peace

  • Everyone should be very offended that the woman was intruding on their ceremony and carrying the rosary. This is why christianity is hated so much. They cant mind their own business and stay the fuck out of others affairs.

  • @MickScarborough Yeah, notice how Christian videos have no opposing comments from Pagans, but Pagan videos practically ONLY have comments from Christian persecution, and Wiccans defending themselves?

  • can men be wicca ??

  • @destroyallhumans130 yes. wicca is the religion a wiccan is the person.

  • @destroyallhumans130 Yes, actually. I actually know a guy named Nestor who practices Wicca.

  • Dr Lavey:It's really bad that stupidity is not painful! wiccans are so fuckin stupid.

  • @SuperShitttttttttttt

What's wrong with you ? Agreed: Too bad you're stupidity isn't painful.

  • Looking at this it's no wonder I really left "wicca" to become a solitary witch. Covens have no real purpose for me, I just feel doing things like 2:44 can be said in your head... I personally feel the rites were written for personal use aswell, but asking rocks if you can sit on them really really strikes me as pretentious... No wonder 3:35 you attract guests, with the amount of dressing up.... bring back paganism, not organised religion >.>

  • ... my grandmother told me there is no worse pain the world than to out live your child. Blessings to all.

  • awww she such a lovely witch! But such a sad story of her daughter! :(

  • Death to all Wiccans - psuedo know-nothing "occultists".

  • @VordbDreagvorUezre lol, go away

  • @VordbDreagvorUezre *Pseudo.

  • @VordbDreagvorUezre what is your problem with us?

  • @sly976976976 Your ignorance, stupidity, and immaturity.

  • @VordbDreagvorUezre lol. what ever.

  • @VordbDreagvorUezre You're an idiot. I'll bet you don't know anything about Wicca.

  • amazes me how superstitious people are even these days

  • Barbara is such a wonderful woman. I hope she recieves many blessings.

  • Umm, Satan didnt like how God was running things up there so he left and made his own place. Now does it really make sense that he would do God's dirty work of punishing people? My ass! Where is this contract that they should probably have for that!? No, hell...for those who believe in it, is probably one awesome fucking party considering that "all homosexuals go to hell" and you know we know how to throw a party bitches. Anyway, I am Wiccan by choice and gay by birth, I love me for both aspects

  • @sweetitsme

    Uhm, no.

I'm 14 and Wiccan. Have been officially for about a year now.

I know Wiccans older. About in their 20s?

Wicca is more than "old people playing dress up and roleplaying".

Besides, the older, the wiser? :DD

  • @Hannah70115 No way I'm 14 and have been a wiccan for a year now i understand what you mean but this is their way of showing thanks to the earth so plz don't hurt them with words

  • @ergotrof witches dont beleive in satan

  • i feel sorry for her loss

  • thays so sad

  • This was beautiful. Absolutely and utterly beautiful. You can see how much passion you have for the craft. Rest in peace Rhiannan; although you are no longer present in this world, your spirit carries on.

This has really inspired me. You are an amazing being, Barbara.

    Blessed be.

  • ib been a mormon all my life sence iv moved to my adopted parents when i was 18 months old and i always felt like i dont belong. when i was 5 i loved magic and the name witch, i use to pretend that i had a wond and i played witch. but to me when i was unger i thought of it as a game but when i was 8 i started to belave in magic but i was realy really in to nacher and the earth but i cepted it a seqret from my adopted parents and when i was 9 i found out a bout wicca and ever sence iv been wiccan

  • I am so sorry for those who are ignorant and refuse to open their minds and hearts. Remember, throwing stones will not better your lives, but only create hostility in your hearts.

  • at 5:40 on is what its all about, wonderful simply wonderful:)))

  • do i have any indian or latina wiccans like me here?

  • @machacra I'm a latina wiccan =P

  • Loony Toons

  • I think her daughter is absolutely beautiful! I hope her soul is happy and care free in the afterlife. Many blessings

  • I know how it feels to have someone that close to you pass away and I hope she is in the afterlife in peace. She was a very pretty girl and it makes me feel a lil better she had enough courage to talk about that on camera. Blessed be

  • oh goddess, the story of the daughter was so sad.

  • aaa the ha ah aha ahahahahahaha haha????? im confused why did i just do that

  • the story about her daughter literally brought tears to my eyes :(

  • Wicca is cool, but just doesn't make sense.

  • what's the point/advantage of being into witchcraft?I guess is a quest of connection with d supernatural...y cldn't she help d daughter to live???

  • @fridoxilinosin Same reason people steal prey even if it doesn't work. If you could make everything better through magick a whole lot more people would do it.

  • @fridoxilinosin Witchcraft can't save a cancer patient, of course. You can ask for any higher help you believe in, and in some cases, it seems to work. But you can't defy what's just meant to be.. May she rest in peace and love.

Also, any believed separation from the physical and the nonphysical has no meaning to a Pagan. They are one. Witchcraft can be a way to feel connected, but in spiritual truth, we know we are. It's about honour and harmony with the earth. Blessed be, hope I helped :) xo

  • remember cathoholics murdering civilians and giving their blood to the pope will grant you a place in "heaven"

  • @shadowfilter

HEY! im catholic take offense to that!!! just because Ahuitzotol is narrow-minded and an asshole does NOT mean he's the "Speaker" of all Catholics!

I believe that there are many ways to love god, Wicca and other pagan religions included.

i am sure you know that NO ONE has A RIGHT to a wiccan/pagan or witch a Satanist! and I don't do that!

SO you have NO RIGHT to call me some blood-thristy murderer!

  • @JournaloftheWiccan Good comment, but don't catholics believe that Wiccans go to Hell and all that?

  • @JournaloftheWiccan

But of course you cannot disagree that the man is representative of his "gods" actions... and for a long time Christianity has been the cause of many deaths of other cultures who does not believe in thesame perspective

  • @JournaloftheWiccan I am very proud to meet more and more and more open minded people likeyou. It really does proof that not all Christian people fear or even hate us. You are a shining light and a great example of tolerance. Thank you

  • @Ahuitzotol YOU ARE A ASS HOLE YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK TO US LIKE THAT. WE ARE NOT SATANIST WE ARE A PEACEFUL RELIGION THAT LOVE NATURE AND EVERYTHING IN IT AND I WILL NOT BOW DOWN TO THE JUDGMENTAL GOD THAT HAS MADE PEOPLE BE JUGDED AND AT TIMES DIED AT THE HAND OF THE CROSS. IN MY EYES I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG.

  • @Ahuitzotol Dude not cool. That's like saying all black people should die you shouldn't go around making death threats to people you don't know.

  • @Ahuitzotol STFU and go let a priest rape you.

  • @Ahuitzotol you must be a newer soul. good luck.

  • Anyways sorry to ramble, I pray you will all have long and happy lives.

    God Bless

  • It says in the Bible that we are supposed to love those that have different beliefs, yet I would guesstimate that 99% of Christians do not do this, they judge and this is what led me away from the Church. They would call me a heathen because I had long hair at the time, how crazy is that!!! And it wasn't just one church that did this to me, so now the way I go to church is by having a small gathering of people without the hierarchy that way everyone gets their say on how God is working for them

  • @weiliiiiiii

That is quite a beautiful idea. Blessed be, and thank you for sharing :)

  • I am a non-denominational Christian and have no problem with Wiccans, in my faith there so many that do not practice what they preach. They judge Wiccans and others beliefs which is wrong, this is the reason I do not go to church. I believe church should be a gathering of people kinda like in this vid, but without any hierarchy (pastors/deacons/etc). I believe that church is just a show, so others can see what suit someone has on or what new car they have, its sick.

  • I think its a wonderful experience. learning the magical arts

    brightest blessings

    bless it be

  • okay I don't hate them,

but it's just weird to see.

i also love nature but I'm not a freak or something like that, sorry but I don't believe

  • Christianity's weird to see. Any religion is weird to see if you're not used to it.

Are you calling wiccans/pagans freaks? You would've been considered a freak long ago. No one asked you to believe.

  • this video doesnt work

  • We have no need for temples, for nature itself can be a temple, a house can be a temple, a room can be temple, or our own bodies can be temples unto themselves. We need no structure made of stone, steel or glass.

  • @Alenmore;

Temples were wooden too. And I think hininga meant temples made in dedication, not for ritual/worship.

  • why dont pagans build temples like the when they did ages ago? .-. and why doesnt this upset the goddess? and if it does? why dont they do something about it?

  • @hiniga28

    Not all pagans built temples.

  • 'Cause the monothiests would freak...

  • @hininga28

the earth is a temple, my friend.

  • The use Unitarian churches- often

  • i love this, thank you for posting. where is that stone circle? id love to visit a stone circle.... it must be an amazing sense of energy.

    blessings )0(

  • can i join ur coven although im not all thAt trained and full of the knowledge but i can learn

  • I have been studing Paganism over 10 years and wicca for 5 and I do not know everything. I question daily but always seem to find the answeres or at least an explanation I am comfortable with. My husbend dies this past april and I would not have made it this far without my wiccan path. blessed be Barbara

  • actually in the celtic traditions, from the information that most have found out anyways, Men were allowed (those who were to old to fight or too injured to go to battle) to participate in the rituals that the Priestesses and maidens preformed. The Priestesses and Maidens were the keepers of knowledge and the men were taught by them to keep the legacy going.

  • shes right it is hard to be a witch i have only been studying for 104 days and i hardly know anything there is so much info

  • I am so sorry for your loss, i know words could never repair or lessen the hurt you have gone through; but she is always with you, i felt very sad for you, for i am a mother of a 14 yr old teen and would be lost if i ever lost her. Blessed be sister and let it be light your way.

  • when I commented saying more about fantasy. I meant that its basically the imagination which awakens something spiritual. LIke visualizing. Its about the unseen not the seen. They are just more ritualistic then I think nescessary sort of like church for xians. just go sit under a tree.. ;}

  • Completely understandable. But since this is "t.v" I believe they're trying to grasp the essence of Wicca cause otherwise the general audience will once again just label as tree worshipping/hugging mindless goons.. lol.. So yeah, I see your perspective quite well.. there's a pro and con to making the video this way. But it's pleasing to my eye since the essence is not common on a wiccan youtube video... =( unless you can gladly prove me wrong. That would appreciated. Blessed be!

  • oh i like it. i wish I were in an alternate world were pagan was the main religion or at least where a person can be free to follow whatever path they feel is true to them. blessed be as well

  • yeah i agree with you... im more into simple ritual...but i guess every now in then it feels good to actual get ready and have sort of like...a big deal type thing you know?

  • Geez, people, don't all give Unityspirit a thumbs down...he/she's just offering an opinion.

  • I gave you thumbs up ;) Blessed Be.

  • irish pagans stand and be counted

  • This part was so sad.

  • Barbara is the most amazing wiccan and I am proud of her

  • I'm wiccan and I hate how people give us bad names!

my teachers always ask me were's the hook nose or ponty hat?

it makes me mad how people perseave witches! My mother says NEVER to practice it. so i practice in secrate.

She's forcing me to be luthren!I just don't understand why.

  • If my teachers did that I would walk up to them in front of the whole class and say, "Excuse me?" quite loudly (but not yelling)

  • Keep at it my friend, and dont let Christians push you around.

  • I understand how you feel. I was raised up Lutheran and have begun to lean more towards being a Wiccan. The horrible thing about Christianity is since it sees itself as the only "true" religion then it believes that it must "save" people who don't conform. It is the fear that a loved one will go to hell. That is the current fear I am grappling with.

I study Wicca in secret to spare my Grandmother the distress.

  • I know what your saying, i live with a christain grandmother, my whole family is christian, i have to hide to. Its not fair. But if it make s you happy hun. Just continue studing so when you can practice in full yours already be learn'd alot.

    Brightest Blessings My Dear.

    Jenn

  • @musicalgirl2893 keep your faith and dont give in. stay strong and blessed be!

  • @musicalgirl2893 that's horrible! you should tell both teachers and your mother off!
