Well the reason they might act so hostile is because there are quite a few people who are evolutionist that only goes to these chat rooms to cause problems. I find your video interesting in the fact that you vistied Christian chat rooms in search of something. I'm not sure you found exactly what you were looking for but you seemed to have a genuine interest in what makes "Christians" tick.

Actually, the gnostics aren't enemies of the Bible. I'm a christian on christian chat and don't believe that. But they were written, most of them anyway, after the death of the disciples they claim to be written by. I believe, however, that there were some books left out of the Bible, such as the Book of Enoch, that should have been left in the Bible. It was mentioned in Jude and referred to as scripture then. Therefore, it should have been left in the Bible. Oh well. Just my opinion.

If someone who claims they are "christian" treats you in such a way, then they are not christian. As a christian, your suppose to live accordingly to the example of Jesus Christ and what the bible says. Jesus Christ didn't ignore atheist, instead he was around them to show them who GOD was and still is.
i don't know if any chat room is an accurate place to get a good point of view on a subject. I think the demographic of chat room regulars is quite a disturbing group of people that is quite a bit different than churches, work places or any other accurate real life place. it might be really a good idea to get input from others.

Christians, by definition, do not have any evidence of a single thing in the bible. The bible itself is NOT proof of itself, in the same way that a chair, isn't a chair, because it's a chair. It is a chair because we have some definition of what a chair is, with evidence to back it up.

As we continue in Jesus He shows us the deep things in our hearts, He reveals to us strongholds, as we get delivered from one, He'll show us another and so on. If someone truly loves Jesus and seeks Him there is a work going on in them, and another person may see an area in their life that is not right but perhaps the person u see that in has not seen it themselves yet.
If you were to come to Christ now there would be a lot of learning to be undone in you. Your thinking is against the knowledge of God and as you read the bible and become aware of strongholds you would need to bring them down with the particular scriptures that oppose the stronghold. Jesus showed us how to resist the enemy in Luke 4 when satan came to tempt Him in the wilderness.
Joshua 1:8 meditate on the word of God day and night and do all it says then you will have success. The success that the Lord is talking about is with our enemies. Christians need to learn how to take up the sword of the Spirit and fight the good fight. We don't come to Christ and are instantly changed into His image, it is from glory to glory we are changed. I think you need to understand these things.
When a person comes to Christ they come with mindsets that are against the knowledge of God some have become strongholds. (2 cor 10:3-5) A Christian needs to renew their mind with the word of God and bring down strongholds. This is why sometimes you may talk to some Christians that don't actually live out scripture because there is still a work being done in them and until they hear correct teaching on strongholds they are struggling in the battle.

I have read the bible. I know who Jesus hung out with. He hung out with what he and perhaps the modern christian society would call "sinners." My purpose for going to the chatrooms was not to find understand the bible or what christianity is all about. My purpose in the chatrooms were to meet new people, ask some questions, and get a more basic understanding of what the christian crowd is really like. I figured you could get a good mix of people from Yahoo chat.
I believe the early Christians would have been much more loving and accepting than many who profess to be Christians today. Yet there admontion to others to believe would have been much stronger, having had a real life change and not just some intellectual discussion. Thank God He is faithul and doesn't change and isn't swayed by men's rejection of Him, their weakness, or pride. He is always ready to reveal Himself to the honest seeker and He is always seeking the unbeliever.

First of all, this guy looks weird in the eyes.
Secondly, and the previous comment isn't meant to be insulting-- just a true and necessary observation-- he is a liar! The individuals he speaks of aren't exactly as he describes them, as "evo" is nothing more than a propagated liar, and "mscarasan" is the same way, and both are extremely antagonistic, ignorant, and hostile toward Christians, period.
This guy needs to get his facts straight. He is a complete, shifty liar, as are "evo" and "ms."

@heartnmouth Anything WRONG that happens is NOT Christian. Do you understand? Therefore, don't try to label ANY action "Christian" because someone CLAIMING to be a Christian does it (many pro-abortion advocates, for example, claim to be Christians, which is impossible)! Furthermore, Christians aren't sinless and indeed do send contradictory messages at times--- a terrible, terrible action-- and when this happens, people need to rectify the situation, not apathetically say, "I'm not perfect."

@Craig28FL um.. these are the people who call themselves christians... They say, they are preachers, followers of Jesus, and they believe that the mistreatment they put on others is nothing wrong.. How would you feel, if you have a guy, who "says" he loves the lord, he is a christian, a singer, etc, etc... and tells some girl to go jump in the lake w/ cement shoes ... I know you are correct.. people who call themselves (I said it, they call themselves christian, I didn't label them)

my point is to make a video talking about something. No I am not perfect and realistically I will never be "perfect" and I accept that. my goal is just to do the best I can. I have my own faults yes, but what makes a person genuine is if he or she recognizes them and works hard to overcome them.

@purpledasies Don't call someone to task for speaking against that which is wrong. In this culture that unfortunately promotes tolerance, people who speak out against what's wrong get attacked--- even by "Christians", hence the quotation marks.
Don't take "Judge not..." out of context, and don't you dare yell at someone for speaking against that which is wrong. Love and tolerance are complete opposites.

You run into people of all nature in life. You seem very smart, with a gentle message for the most part. Please remember that it is a Christians job, first and foremost to spread the gospel of Christ. Although I wish that we all had great communication skills like yourself. Christians, by definition, do not have any evidence of a single thing in the bible. The bible itself is NOT proof of itself, in the same way that a chair, isn't a chair, because it's a chair. It is a chair because we have some definition of what a chair is, with evidence to back it up.

As we continue in Jesus He shows us the deep things in our hearts, He reveals to us strongholds, as we get delivered from one, He'll show us another and so on. If someone truly loves Jesus and seeks Him there is a work going on in them, and another person may see an area in their life that is not right but perhaps the person u see that in has not seen it themselves yet.

If you were to come to Christ now there would be a lot of learning to be undone in you. Your thinking is against the knowledge of God and as you read the bible and become aware of strongholds you would need to bring them down with the particular scriptures that oppose the stronghold. Jesus showed us how to resist the enemy in Luke 4 when satan came to tempt Him in the wilderness.

Joshua 1:8 meditate on the word of God day and night and do all it says then you will have success. The success that the Lord is talking about is with our enemies. Christians need to learn how to take up the sword of the Spirit and fight the good fight. We don't come to Christ and are instantly changed into His image, it is from glory to glory we are changed. I think you need to understand these things.

When a person comes to Christ they come with mindsets that are against the knowledge of God some have become strongholds. (2 cor 10:3-5) A Christian needs to renew their mind with the word of God and bring down strongholds. This is why sometimes you may talk to some Christians that don't actually live out scripture because there is still a work being done in them and until they hear correct teaching on strongholds they are struggling in the battle.

I have been in yahoo christian chat for about 8 years now. There is no identity and no accountability on yahoo chat. No admins. Only an iggy button. You can get booted and hacked and pm bombed there. Bibleman, from my knowledge of him (I've met him a couple times) is not your typical christian and seemed to me borderline mentally ill. Your instincts are right on. Nice video.

I agree and thanks for the comment on the video. I went into one room once and right when I revealed I was an atheist, like 4 people automatically iggyed me, even though I made it clear that I wasn't there to bash anyones faith.

Hello, I know evo and he is a very good person to have a sincere exchange of ideas with. I used to go to catholic chat 1 alot and there are a few folks there who won't dignify you at least as a fellow human as well. Catholics are taught that the theory of evolution is not contrary to divine revelation and now, after the test of time and evidence as support it is a diservice to Truth to outright deny.

God's love is constant and unchanging.God loved me when I was an unbeliever - remember every Christian at one time was an unbeliever. In fact Jesus hung out with the non-religious crowd and had tough words for the "religious". I would suggest that you read the Bible yourself, instead of taking other peoples word about what it says.Keep up the good work.

I have read the bible. I know who Jesus hung out with. He hung out with what he and perhaps the modern christian society would call "sinners." My purpose for going to the chatrooms was not to find understand the bible or what christianity is all about. My purpose in the chatrooms were to meet new people, ask some questions, and get a more basic understanding of what the christian crowd is really like. I figured you could get a good mix of people from Yahoo chat.

I believe the early Christians would have been much more loving and accepting than many who profess to be Christians today. Yet there admontion to others to believe would have been much stronger, having had a real life change and not just some intellectual discussion. Thank God He is faithul and doesn't change and isn't swayed by men's rejection of Him, their weakness, or pride. He is always ready to reveal Himself to the honest seeker and He is always seeking the unbeliever.

I figured that trying a few chrisitan chat rooms are a good way to get a pretty fair idea of the mixed bag in the christian community. Honnestly I enjoy talking to people in there. Many of there are really friendly people.
