  • I recognise this as Shepway! Would you have any idea when Madginford was built?

  • Thank you! This was so sweet and poignant, seeing people from this time. I recognize all the places. I was born in Mangravet in 1955. I played on those swings at Shepway. Now live in San Francisco.

  • Hi Steveo 1622. I will find out the street name for you and sorry! but what is BTW. Cheers Michael.

  • @steveo1622 I believe that is actually West Malling High street. So it's not Maidstone at all :P

  • Definately Shepway, the houses arent the same around the green in Parkwood and the slide wasnt that high. Excellent piece of nostalgia

  • Nice piece of nostalgia. The playground is in the Shepway estate, and the Y blocks are no longer there. And no longer in Parkwood either

  • that does look like parkwood! they don't make slides that steep anymore what shame they were so much more fun if only i could get my bum in em now. lol

  • That was great. Yep..I remember The Sausage Hut. I was born in 1961..so I was about 10 when this was made..so..great nostalgia..thank you.

  • Aww your films always make me want to cry. Ha, it just reminds me of my grandparents and just leaving home behind and such. I also migrated to the states when I was 4 but I'm not british :). Still sad I lost my grandparents and some other people.

  • Great film! I remember playing on that slide and swings as a kid too. (cumberland green)

  • Looks like the green behind shepway shops there used to flats there

  • It looks like Park Wood with the y shape flats.Where was your old house as I cant place it.
