I actually feel gutted watching this great video!..I lived in Inner South London until I was 28 and moved 25 years ago to the edge of South London/North Kent to Welling.
I was thinking theres a lovely Family(bet they moved to Australia) and unbelievably your next comment was just that!

great stuff coming from parkwood myself i know that this is shepway as we where allowed to go to the big slide for a treat sometimes as the one near us wasnt that big,loved the rocking boat,you dont see them anymore,brings a tear to my eye !!

I was born in 71 and am a maidstone lad so thanks for sharing this.I can't work out the road at 24 secs with the traffic,any help/ideas?Thought it was Bank st but no,dont think so.BTW,life in a Northern Town??
that does look like parkwood! they don't make slides that steep anymore what shame they were so much more fun if only i could get my bum in em now. lol
Aww your films always make me want to cry. Ha, it just reminds me of my grandparents and just leaving home behind and such. I also migrated to the states when I was 4 but I'm not british :). Still sad I lost my grandparents and some other people.
I recognise this as Shepway! Would you have any idea when Madginford was built?

i loved that park i know where it is as i was bought up in parkwood we went to this park for a treat as it had a big slide its shepway

Definately Shepway, the houses arent the same around the green in Parkwood and the slide wasnt that high. Excellent piece of nostalgia

Nice piece of nostalgia. The playground is in the Shepway estate, and the Y blocks are no longer there. And no longer in Parkwood either

That was great. Yep..I remember The Sausage Hut. I was born in 1961..so I was about 10 when this was made..so..great nostalgia..thank you.
