  • You the MAn

  • what if you just changed your oil will it ruin it

  • @pbeilstein Yes, seafoam is designed to remove engine sludge and buildup, that is why is should be used BEFORE an oil change. It's recommended to use Seafoam and then drive your car normally for about another 150-200 miles to allow a good breakdown of the engine buildup, THEN change your oil!

  • @chernmax ok i just poured it all down my gas tank and ive gotten a few smoke shows from flooring it all white smoke lol and i notice a bit more smoothness now so i guess the fuel lines needed cleanin but to put it anywhere else i will do it before my oil change thanks

  • Also, rather than pouring the rest of the contents of the seafoam into the induction in a matter of seconds, it gives the additive more time to due its job and clean the injectors and valves if you use a slow drip applicator or carefully bend the tube connected to the funnel to slow down the drip while leaving the car running. Once the drip is done, reconnect the vacuum line and then rev the engine. More white smoke should appear than what showed on this video.

  • I am a current jiffy lube employee that does recommend using a fuel system and engine cleaning such as seafoam(even though Nissan Manufacturer does not). However it is much more effective to clean the inductive by going through the brake booster vacuum line located in the upper right hand corner of the hood. By doing this you also avoid any confusion by the check engine light going on because if you don't leave the car running with a disconnected hose, the light will not go on.

  • Chernmax@hhh man I'm dumm so can I still use it?

  • @adnantallal Yes you can absolutely use it for your car, just remember after you apply the treatment, continue the normal driving of your car for 150-200 miles, then change your oil and filter.

Seafoam FIRST, then Oil Change (after 150-200miles of driving!).

  • @Chernmax it says on the bottle for 2-4 cycle, but not for 6 , isn't a maxima 6cycle

  • @adnantallal LOL, actually we have 6 CYLINDER (not 6 cycle) engines, 2-4 cycle engines are like lawn mowers, weed wackers, small gas engines etc. :-)

  • where did you get your intake mani?

  • @HarvyMcdubz I bought it from Cattman Performance, it's a Kinetix

  • id like to seafoam my 6th gen but will i need to decode the codes so the lights will turn off? or is it possible they will turn off after awhile.(lights as in check engine light etc..)

  • @deckersexy Mine flashed for about 2-3 minutes then went off. As the Seafoam starts dissipating the CEL will go out on it's own!

  • @chernmax good deal! thank you :]

  • Can i do this on my 92 maxima ? Its all stock , no aftermarkets installed....!

  • @japjotsingh8711 Sure, Sea Foam is actually best for high mileage cars as a preventative maintenance cleaning. But after the Sea Foam treatment run the car for about 150-200 miles BEFORE changing your oil.

  • thanks for the guide! did it today to my 04 max se

  • hey chern, i was wondering what dual tip exhaust system do you think would give me your max sound?

  • @MrArconz first off my sound is unique since I have a Turbo, Hotshot Headers and Y-Pipe, GReddy SP-II full catback piping and REMUS mufflers. Megna flows, NISMO, and GReddy all sound great in my opinion.

  • Hey Chernmax, can you read this post and some replies. I want your thoughts on this? google "don't seafoam your legend intake" its the first link. supposedly the seafoam stirs the gunk all around which can stick to valves and bends gears. Thanks in advance.

  • @inad316 I have not read 1 article or proof this has ever happened to a VQ-30 or VQ35 Maxima Engine. Can't answer either for the potential issues with the Legend but do a search and 100's of thousands of car, trucks, motocycles and Marine engines use seafoam. I followed the instructions and have zero issues. It's hard to determine if the Legend had other issues and seafoam was used as a liquid mechanic. I still stand by periodic use of seafoam and still believe it's 100% safe!

  • @chernmax

thanks for your input. appreciate it.

  • @chernmax Thanks a lot for this video, this helped me out seafoaming my 2002 Maxima. Our cars are so similar that it was a breeze and I wasn't even nervous about putting the seafoam in the intake manifold.

  • @Stompy77 Thanks for the feedback and glad to help!

  • Great video, sweet Max.... Any of you 6th gen maxima owners heard of the timing chain / tensioner issue on the VQ35? Or could redirect me to a site that has more info....

  • @santiboricuamp Check your messages, I sent you a link!

  • A friend/mechanic of mine today told me this Seafoam isn't really necessary these days and is mostly a gimmick. It goes back to the 1930s and has kinda become a pop-culture fad. He also added this could mess up your sensors permanently. He has seen it happen before. So save yourself $60 and get some Fuel Injector cleaner. ;)

But i'm sure this method will work on some older clunkers, altho for the most part, not needed in todays cars.

Fuel Injector cleaner is just as good & safer.

  • @SpaceWars2025 And I know many mechanics who love the stuff because it's universal for fuel systems, intake manifolds, crank case, gaskets & seals that is less harsh as some of the other chemical cleaners on the market. It especially works great on boosted vehicle which tend to build up more carbon and sludge deposits! Seafoam is not a liquid mechanic, it's a preventative maintenance cleaner. And if I were you I would not dump a fuel injector cleaner in your crank case! Costs about $10

  • @chernmax Ok thanks great advice there... I have a Nissan Maxima GLE 1998, 320,000 kms and runs great still... Was used for highway driving mostly.. So you recommend this method here for my car? ... Im kinda up in the air but your advice seems pretty solid to me.

  • great video. real nice maxima.

  • My oil needs a change so I guess after I seafoam it, Ill drive another 100-150kms then change oil.. ? .. sounds just about right from what ive been reading here.. My car is Nissan Maxima GLE '98 ... someone chime in if anything is wrong here.. thanks in advance! :)

  • @SpaceWars2025 Perfect, YES that's what people should do. You understand it right!

  • @SpaceWars2025 If you apply the crank case application only, drive the car for about 150kms of normal driving and do an oil change. You'll see just how black the oil will be after the cleaning. Nothing harmful about a car cardio treatment. It should improve mileage and performance. High mileage cars are best for this treatment and gasket a seal safe because Seafoam is an oil based product, does not use corrosive agents. Let me know how it goes...

  • drawing a line isn't lazy!... some people too lazy to pick up a marker to do that! great vid bro, I will watch it a few times and hope this works on my nissan maxima 1998 gle.. what u think? thanks!

    -- SW2025 --

  • @SpaceWars2025 Thanks for the feedback bro!!!

  • Comment removed

  • is your car automatic?

  • @elcuerogreso Yes!

  • Does it remove stains, too?

  • @AlabamaCrackerHonkey Maybe, have not tried!!!

  • Nice looking engine bay!

  • @James28R Thanks...

  • Just made a quick video on where the vaccum line is on the 4th Gen Maxima so if you are a little intimidated about trying to find it my video shows you exactly where it is. But, Chernmax knows what he's talkin bout so watch his video all the way through first.

  • @MaxJav9669 Thanks for the support, I love it when people help each other!!! :-)

  • @chernmax as soon as i get my old baby's alternator replaced im making one on how to seafoam a carburated engine.

  • @MaxJav9669 Excellent!

  • @chernmax Took a little while cause the belt kept snapping on the alternator but, i finally got it back and made the video of how to do this for a carbureted engine.

  • Just made a video showing where the vaccum line is on the 4th Gen Maxima. So of you have a 4th Gen Maxima and you're a little confused as to where the vaccum line is check out my video after you watch this all the way through because Chernmax knows what he's talkin bout.

  • Thats like a dream car for me, nice ride man.

  • @roostinu57 Thanks I worked hard for every mile!

  • @chernmax Well, hopefully ill have one someday, washing dishes, still in highschool, gotta start some where m8! lol

  • Iraq?

  • @Jsd8675 What about Iraq?

  • the check engine light is not supposed to flash it only flashes if you are misfiring bad enough to destroy the cat. and it does not clean you mass air flow sensor the maf is before the manifold. but sick maxima

  • @carwiz02 If you put Seafoam in the intake manifold, when you start the car back up the CEL may flash and that's normal. if the CEL was not on before, but then flashes after appling Seafoam it is NOT the result of a misfire bad enough to destroy the cat. Even seafoams official How Too VID states the CEL light may flash after the 15 minute stay period when turned back on! Yes the MAF is before the maifold but regardless, Seafoam is sensor safe, Sea Foam Deep Creep is used to clean the MAF!

  • also, is it okay if my check engine light didn't come on? did I not put enough seafoam? thanks

  • @fpark The CEL light may light, flash, or stay off, it's OK and normal.

  • hey chernmax, is it okay if I change the oil quicker than the 100-150 miles. say about 25-50 miles?

  • @fpark Yes but in my opinion, you're not giving the seafoam enough miles to loosen the gunk!

  • It says on the directions to put the whole can in the gas tank just sayin

  • @xnf90x2 If your gas system has problems you can. As a preventative maintenance tool for the intake manifold, crank case, and fuel system you can use it in 3 parts. Just sayin... :-)

  • great video!... I've got an 07 g35 sedan that I wanted to seafoam ... 47 k on it now... and I've been hearing things about seafoam not being good for a vq engine on these forums and could possibly void my warrenty. I'm obviously a little clueless whether if these posts are true or not... what do you think?

  • @mbciptr Sea Foam has been around since the 1930's and is an awesome preventive maintaince liquid that reduces carbon and sludge buildup so our engines can run as engineered. I suspect people who thought it was a fix all had other problems with their car before they decided to use it! Sea Foam is a preventive maintenance tool, not a liquid mechanic! The fact I would use it in my own car means I stand behind it as well as millions of others and I make NO money at all from them! I should! ;-)

  • @chernmax ... chern one more question before I seafoam the g... is an oil change recommended after seafoam? I've read that seafoaming a vehicle will require an oil change in the next 100-150 miles.

    Thanks again!

  • @Leilar22 Yes, after Sea Foaming drive the car for another 100-200 miles then dump the oil, give the Sea Foam a chance to loosen all the gunk. Oil should look about as black a Satan's Heart ;-)

  • Thanks for the video. I might throw one up when I Seafoam my '03 5.5 Gen. It seems like no walkthrough is currently posted for that model.

  • @RobertColianni Remove the facuum hose on the left side of the Intake manifold and should be the same procedure!

  • Hands down the best and most informative seafoam tuturial on youtube! Nice max too!!!

  • @faizon215 Thanks for the props and feedback :-)

  • funny guy trying to do his thing. thank you

  • great video and your car sounds great.. but you should run slightly smaller tips and tuck them up higher into the rear lip / valence

  • @ryanazarko LOL I've been thinking the same thing for the last 2 years, last month I finally did it! Scroll down to the bottom of the page for pictures:

    w w w(dot)cardomain(dot)com/ride/668322/2

  • really helpfull vid, nice max.. i have a 5th gen max (03) and im gona do seafoam on it very soon. im wondering where the vacume hose line is? cuz i wana put it in the intake manifold as well(also putting in the oil and gas tank).

are our engines set up diffrently? or should the vacume hose be exactly where yours is.

    thanks.

  • @PLATINUMMAXIMUM09 send me a private message with your email address and I'll send you a picture!

  • I wish u knew someone who seafoam a 92 Maxima (3rd Gen).... I need a vid for that... I jus been addin it 2 mah gas tank, well one time

  • @Chyne20 Next time add half a can to your oil crank case (same place where you add your oil) run the car for about 150-200 miles THEN do your next oil change...

  • @chernmax Ok thanks...

  • honestly, i would suggest you buy at least 2 cans of seafoam. Using one can entirely in the vacuum line, 2/3 of the other in the crank case, and the last 1/3 in the gas. This seems to work the best for me. when i use only a 1/3 for each application, it barely seems to work, when i use more, i can definitely tell!!

  • @ncatania1 depends on each user, time between treatments and level of cleanliness they want based on engine configuration. Boosted cars will require more, stock with no mods or average driving less...

  • Your vid is great.

  • what was the after effects? did your car improve? no problems months later?

  • @Rico8458 After the Seafoam treatment, then oil/filter change about 100-200 miles after treatment, the car ran smoother with a slightly lower idle. Seafoam has been around for years and is a great preventative maintenance treatment for high milage cars or boosted cars which tend to build up more carbon faster. Zero problems over a year later...

  • thanks man great vid..

  • @chrisanthony14 Thanks for the feedback :-)

  • good informational vid and gorgeous maxima man. that car is beyond clean. 5*****

  • @NismoBdon Thanks for the props and feedback... :-)

  • Seafoam works great, makes my Altima run like a champ with over 100k. BTW nice Maxima love that sound.

  • thanks for the great video. one question tho. maybe i didnt catch it when u said. anyways, how full owas ur fuel tank? does it need to be full or empty? it is is full do u need to used them all or release them after u place seafoam in the gas tank? if it full do u have to step on the gas untill the tank is empty? u said that seafoam should not be in the car for longer than 15 mins...so how do i get them out of my gas tank.. thanks.. i got everything ready except for instruction : ) thanks

  • Thanks for the feedback, as for Seafoam in the gas tank I recommend a 1/4 tank of gas or more. You don't have to empty the gas tank or run till empty, just pour and forget. As for the 15 minute thing, make sure the car is warm, pour 1/3 into the oil crank case. Then the other 1/3 gets sucked into the intake manifold through the brake boost hose. One complete let sit for 15 minutes, then run the car again till smoke clears. Drive car 100-150 miles over week, then change oil/filter.

  • @chernmax

thank you very much for the clarification. I will try it tomorrow.. thanks

  • I also recommend you watch the video 1 more time, it is clearly explained... Again it's best to do this procedure about 100-150 miles BEFORE a normally scheduled oil change. Finish the treatment and drive the car normally for a day, week, etc. The driving works the gunk out of the crank case, everything does not have to be done the same day. The Sea Foam bottle also has instructions.

  • nice! 5/5* stars for detailed instructions and the nice ride!

do you really recommend Seafoaming cars? does it really improve mileage, rough idle, etc? thanks.

  • Yes and considering how much cleaner your engine system will be it's the best, safe $10.00 dollars you'll ever spend. Don't forget to do this BEFORE an oil change. After Sea Foaming, drive the car for a good 100-200 miles to really loosen the gunk out and when you dump your oil it should look as black as Satans Heart!!! As for recommending, doing it to my own car is the highest recommendation I can think of! Report back please when done...

  • oh yea for sure i will let you know the results. i might just do the gas tank and vacuum line for now cuz my next oil change is about 2,000 miles.

btw, i got some gunk build up on my distributor cap and a little gunk on the engine. and car's performance it kind of sluggish :\. i have a 93 camry 2.2L. i will PM you the pics of the build up. thanks for the reply.

  • Just do a 50/50 with a can on those 2 and based on the year of your car and the potential high mileage, I'd go with a half a can of Sea Foam for the oil/crankcase before you dump you oil!

  • for right now i only got one can. i bought it from Kragen for $10 plugs tax. i never tried Seafoaming, do you recommend doing the crank case, vacuum line, and gas tank? or can i just do the gas tank and the vacuum line for now?

  • Since you said you have about another 2K before your oil change just do the intake manifold (vacuum line) and gas tank. do a 50/50 split. About 100-200 miles BEFORE your oil change pick up another can and put 1/2 in the oil crank case and you should be good to go.

  • hey i seafoamed my car, but not the crank case. im not sure if their is a difference in performance and their smoke was white not black. also smoke was coming out of the engine but it went away, normal? when i did the gas tank the seafoam dripped because it was dark but i know most of it got in there. next i will clean my TB and IACV. got any tips on cleaning that gunk on my engine and dist. cap? thanks for all ur help.

  • Sea-foam has a great product also for cleaning the insides of the throttle body and is sensor safe. It's call "Deep Creep" and it's sensor safe and even good for cleaning the Mass Air Flow sensor. As for cleaning the engine, lots of great products out there but for over 20 years I've been using rubber gloves, Windex, and paper towels. It doesn't take much for me since I clean my engine religiously. It's also easier to spot problems and identify leaks when you maintain a clean engine bay!

  • i gotta can of CRC TB & Intake Cleaner, can i use this to clean the TB/buttery fly valve and spray of it down into the IAC? or should i get some of that deep creep?

  • If you already have the CRC TB cleaner, use it as directed, should be OK also, no need to buy more stuff...

  • Is this alright to do it on an automatic car? I have a Infiniti G35 with 70k miles on it

  • Absolutely, my cars an automatic!

  • I always wanted to do this thanks for making this video

  • Thanks for the feedback, let me know if you have any questions.

  • can i use seafoam on my 87' 300 E benz?

  • IMO yes, sensor, and gasket safe and your 23 yr old Benz may love you more for it. Again do a Sea Foam treatment BEFORE and oil change, run the car for about 100-200 miles after treatment then dump the oil. Your oil should look darker than Satans Heart!!! Good luck and please provide performance feedback!

  • does the check engine light comes up if you do it? what did you use to reset it.

  • The check engine light will come on and flash but will go off on it's own in about a minute. No worries...

  • thank you

  • @chernmax i have a 93 camry, will the engine light come on? i heard that i have to go and buy some kind of device to make the lights go away.

  • During the Sea Foam process, the Check engine light will either come on or flash. But WILL go away on it's own after about a minute. If it keeps your light on for some reason, disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes to reset the cars ECU and it should be off. Most major auto parts stores (Autozone, Advanced Auto, Pep Boys, NAPA, etc) have an engine code reader and will read your codes for free if you ask them!

  • Brilliant video chern, Really really well done, Almost professional like. :)

  • Thanks, appreciate the feedback and props to my daughter KT (13) who video taped it!

  • Wow, what well done upgrades to that maxima. I usually don't like decked out cars, but this looks professional. Really nice vid

  • Hi, i have a 4th gen maxima. I used the brake booster to do mine. Check out my video, lots and lots of smoke out of my exhaust lol.

  • this was the best video on how to seafoam your car on youtube. thanks a allot because i have a 1994 nissan maxima and i needed to know how to do this and this video really helped me out, thanks.

  • Thanks for the props and glad to help!

  • Great video. Very informative. Love the Maxi. Don't take offensive to this, but you don't look like a Maxi driver. And that prefectly cool. It's just when I see Maxi drivers they're usually my age, 24-39. Again great Maxi. I had the 2nd gen. and I fall madly in love with the 6th, because was unable to get one. So I'll have to settle for the 7th gen. How often should you perform an engine seafoam? How often should you perform an engine seafoam?

  • Thanks for the props, google chernmax and check out my Cardomain page. As for age, does owning and operating Nissans since 1991 count? ;-) Also check out Maxima(dot)org and you'll be amazed at the nation wide age spread, us older dudes tend to own the newer models though. Anyway I'm not an average person either so whala, the Turbo Maxima. Also a 7th gen should still be pretty new and I recommend people start considering using seafoam at about 50K+ miles or if the engine feels a little weak!

  • I got a 98 Max. It has arounf 95k on it. I dont know if is hould do this or auto rx

  • Seafoam is a great overall engine and fuel system cleaner that will not damage components or sensors. Nothing wrong with using a product that will make your engine run smoother. If you do decide to do it, make sure you run the car for a good 100-150 miles after then dump your oil and filter and see for yourself the black gook that comes out! Good luck

  • @chernmax

Right now I'm running Castrol Syntec 10w30. It has around 2800 miles on this oil. I am assuming you mean I should put this seafoam in towards the end of the oil cycle right?

Also, With a syntethic, why would there be any sludge in myu engine? the car has been running synthetic since 30k.

  • Yes that's correct, Seafoam should be performed toward the end of the oil change cycle. On your other question, because not all synthetic oil is 100% synthetic, also carbon build up from detonation, contaminants in the air filtered down, etc. And last, if your engine is running fine to where your happy with it, leave perfection alone!

  • @chernmax

Yeah. I hear some bad thngs though, like about sensors failing etc.

  • I hear tons of stuff also about sensor failure however IMO most people had a pre-existing problem before using SeaFoam and the objective should be to Fix the problem not the Blame. SeaFoam is a sensor safe product, too many people are quick to blame a preventative maintenance product for an engine failure verse address the real cause of their engine problem. I put 1000% endorsement behind SeaFoam but it is NOT the FIXALL for existing mechanical problem that requires a Tech!

  • fair.

However, I hear good things about Auto-RX as well. I hear it cleans the engine. How does it differ from seafoam>

  • Not sure since I've never used it therefore can't say any pros or cons about it.

  • by the way thats a real nice car you have good taste

  • How many miles did your maxima had before you did the seafoam process? ( do you recommend before an oil change or after?)

  • It was getting close to 50,000 miles. Also Seafoam BEFORE an oil change. I recommend (as well as the Seafoam makers) that you do the Seafoam treatment first, drive the car an additional 100-200 miles to really work the gook out. Then get an oil change. Guarentee that oil will be as dark as Satans Heart!!! Good Luck...

  • Dude that Maxima has the Nissan's best VQ 3.5 V6. It is one of the best engines ever made in the market! Why do you need a seafoam? That engine will make well over 200K miles with no problems at all!

I can understand you if you have an old Chevy or Ford... but not to the Maxima's VQ engine... you just don't need it!!!

  • I have a custom Turbo and work with VQ modders who also turbo, CAI, Headers, exhaust, etc which tends to cause more gunk buildup in a shorter time span...

  • Wondering your opinion max... I've read a few comments on seafoam removing factory coatings on the fuel injectors. Are there any long term consequences of using this stuff? Especially on slightly older model cars with lots of miles... considering seals within the engine.

  • Seafoam is a 100% pure petroleum product that cleans internal fuel and oil system components, I'm not sure were you read that at but it will not harm engine components, seals, gaskets, catalytic converters or oxygen sensors. I have had zero issues with it and this product has been around for over 65 years! This product should be used for preventative maintenance and upkeep for a cleaner running engine, fuel system. I trust it, I use it, I'm not sure of a better endorsement. Good Luck...

  • WOW nice max. 1 quick question what is seafoam

  • Google "Seafoam" lots of info available. ...

  • Nice Max. I also have a 6th Gen and love it very much. Quick question where did you get your tail lights? I see you have LED but the light cover looks original. I have only seen the clear and black ones.

  • The new 6th Gen LED tails come in Red, Black and Clear (look more like the circular G35 LEDs). This is a newer version LED tail from those Fugly ones someone orginally made in smoke and clear. Google "Chernmax" and hit up my cardomain page. Scroll down page 1 for better pictures of the tails...

  • Koo thanks. I will check them out. And nice Max again

  • kickass video, chernmax!

  • Thanks Bro :-)

  • very nice vid! showed me everything ! i got a question tho....at auto zone i saw the regular seafoam and seafoam "deep creep" whats the diffence?? could you use both the same way?

  • SeaFoam Deep Creep is awesome for cleaning Mass Air Flow sensors, throttle bodies, intake manifolds, etc. I love the stuff!!! SeaFoaming is a different maintenance treatment all together! Deep Creep can positively help with other component cleaning.

  • that is a very sexy maxima i love it i wish mine was like that how much did you invest in it

  • Over 6 years almost 18K, most was for my engine, tranny, and Turbo build. Car is worth every penny and a pleasure to drive and she is my daily driver. Thanks for the props. Check out my Cardomain pictures, just Google chernmax, watch what pops up!

  • Your car looks badass dude.

  • Thanks for the feedback, click on my user name for other VIDs of Red Heat!

  • where you can buy it? at any autp parts ?

  • Yes almost every major auto store chain sells Seafoam.

  • by the way... i forgot to ask.. my oil its about add... do you think i should use the sea foam on my s10- blazer 1988 4x4 2.8l? or do i change new oil and use it?

thanks man will appreciate it post more videos !!!

you and your daughter do a great job together!

  • I have also used SeaFoam on my wifes SUV about 200 miles before her next oil change. I will not blow smoke up anyones ass, Sea Foam works and has a reputation to back it up. I recently had an issue with acceleration and I used Deep Creep on my mass air flow sensor and throttle body and my car did not wind up at a shop. Sea Foam works, I rather spent $10 on a product that may help verse an $85 dollar an hour diagnostic!!!

  • this guy there is serious business! good job chernmax your the man!

  • Appreciate the feedback!!!

  • is it best to peform on near empty or full tank of gas?

  • I prefer half a tank or less. It won't hurt any components for the fuel system.

  • slap me up and called me stupid but i have a regular "05" max and i want suspention up grages...any sug??

  • Sorry but I don't understand your question, can you restate and check spelling!

  • Great video. I own 5th gen maxima and have the pinging problem. I have used one pint of seafoam one tank ago (just added it to the tank) and to my surprise pinging improved a little. I ran one tank clean fuel and this week I've put another pint of foam to the tank hoping that the pinging will reduce even more. In my opinion it is a good practice to take a car for a long ride while doing this where the engine can work under steady load for a long time. Let me know what you think.

  • I would also bump up your gas octane or put an octane boost for a couple tanks and see how the pinging goes. And agree toward the end of the VID I state to take the car on a good spirited drive for about 20 minutes and leave the seafoam in your car for about 100-200 miles and then change the oil. Give it some time to clean up the gunk.

  • just got back to new york.. video is great it also helped to see you do rambergs car at maxus cuz his lines will be more similar than yours cuz of your turbo.. imma go do it now ill let you know how it comes out.. thanx

  • Thanks for the comment and glad to help a Max brother. Great to meet you at Maxus09

  • Thanks man!!! This is the advice I needed!!!

    Thanks Again!!!!

    P.S. NICE CAR!!!

  • Absolutely love your Maxima.

Would you recommend a turbo that size for a 95 Maxima?

  • Absolutely!!! :-)

  • This is the correct way to use Sea Foam.Chris has done a great job showing the correct way to Sea Foam a car!!

  • can you just restart your battery to stop the CEL?

  • You can either go to an automotive store and have them clear the code with an OBD-II reader or disconnect negative terminal of your battery for about 10 minutes and that should clear the code. If the CEL comes back on, you may want to investigate the problem.
