showtime already said that they are going to go through all of henry's six wives. i wonder if JRM is going to plump up for the following seasons. They say that henry the VIII weighed 480 pounds at his death. i guess we will have to wait and see.

Haha--he'll gain about 20 pounds and a fat suit will do the rest of the work. However, since part of the appeal of "The Tudors" is JRM's looks, they won't have him go too far south or people wouldn't want to watch. I'm pretty sure it's coming up soon, though--because the end of season two was him eating a pie filled with chocolate pudding lol

It's already been confirmed officially that he will not fatten up for upcoming seasons--so that pie-eating scene (and wasn't that a swan/meat pie?) was misleading...

I think the meat pie eating was more representative of how insane he was and how little he valued personal relationships. A few season 2 scenes showed him admiring the swans and he enjoyed them. Then, in the last scene of the season, he's enjoying eating it as much as watching them swim and play.

Yeh good point, I was wondering aswell, but the downside is, a fat suit is not suitable for all the nude scenes we're used to find along the series or maybe they will make an artificial Belly they stick to him.

And as i real life, because of his sport injury he wasn't able to engage in sports, which made him gain weight like mad.

Anyway you see him eating so often in the series, chicken, pie, fruits...he must gain weight even in real life, lol.

As a tudor history student, I am very aware that it is not historically accurate - but lets face it, what historical drama is?

Its entertaining, and as long as it sparks curiosity with history within the general public then I am happy to turn a blind eye.

Yay!! finally something about season 3!!! i've already heard that joss stone was gonna be on it as anne of cleves but i haven't had the opportunity to see anything so, thank you for posting this!! I can't wait to see the next season unfortunately i have NO idea when is it gonna arrive to mexico... *sighs* what i know for sure is that i'm gonna miss natalie dormer and her fantastic anne boleyn performance.

la que estaba hablando en el video no va a ser jane seymour, es anna de cleves. pero la primera actriz que era jane seymour,la guerita chiquita, en el series 2 fue cambiada por otra actriz diferente.
