I, too, was looking forward to seeing the Gaunts and Riddle's. It seems odd that the whole story was left out of the movies. I love the backstory on those characters and Tom working at borgin and burks etc...could have used a little more of that, and how Dumbledor kept refusing Tom a teaching position at Hogwarts! etc...thanks for the upload, great vid!

haha awesome! I always pictured Fantine/Uma Therman as Merope. She and Jonathan Meyers could have done an excellent job in the film if only they captured that portion of Voldemort's past in the 6th or either of the 7th movies, but they alas, they didn't. That was my only discredit :(

im halfway through HP6 and the story of merope is really sad.it's the first time in her life to be happy when she got escaped from her abusive father and brother. I think she deserve something more than the love (though its from love potion isn't?) of Tom Sr.
