  • there is a better film of this bay, search ... coast road drive jersey 1985

  • Hi vautier93

You are obviously not Jersey otherwise you would no that it is always refered to by locals as the five mile road, if you came here and asked for directions no-one would know what you were on about if you asked for the 3 mile road! You are right it is in fact 3 miles but it really isn't relevant what actual length it is my friend, OK

  • In fact where the 5 mile road apparently came from was war time in an effort to confuse the Germans during the occupation (still works mind) :)

  • @tarbra1 I have just returned from a brief trip to Jersey and as usual it was very enjoyable. I used to work in St Helier in the 70's and sometimes we used to go to this club/hotel in L'Etacq (Sunday afternoons only) and I am curious to know what happened to the place and where it was situated because I drove around L'Etacq recently and could not identify where the club used to be (it's has obviously been demolished). We also went to a disco called Sands (on St Ouens), is it now the Watersplash?

  • lol it aint 5 miles the beach is the road 3

  • hahaha my dad works in background

  • FULL OF NUTTERS AS YOU CAN SEE

  • I have been in Jersey on holiday several times. Highly recommendable!

  • i used too work there in the late 80s packing spuds nice place

  • It is a pleasure ScunnyArfie hope you come back to visit some day?

  • i worked in Jersey from 1979 - 1984,visited the Watersplash often, worked at the Jolly Roger in St Brelades, thank you for the nice memories your drive brought back to me.
