  • can somebuddy send me a link to this movie?? i m searching 4 this movie for weeks and i cant find it online plzz help!

  • Any real donk would have called with KK. That trick wouldn't work nowadays.

  • The guy with 7 2 is the same guy who get's shocked in the movie Casino.

  • How can there NOT be a movie about Archie Karas ? Hands down the greatest...

  • the dude with the beard is a cheat! just watch casino.

  • @fobolsjov "look what they did to my hand man!!" lol

  • Apparently Hollywood will never properly capture a real poker game. Same forced, contrived dialogue mixed with over acting, and retarded card combinations.

  • @rogerrodd Yeah I know - it's embarrassing for a poker player to watch. Kinda like watching two top FIDE rated GM's talking real time during a chess game:

Well gee Gary, if I take your pawn, I'll be a pawn up, but then you'll trap my Q, so, I'm just gonna mosey by that pawn trap....lmao.

Go watch Cincinatti Kid - better movie, but THE WORST final hand ever recorded by Hollywood. Not just the two hands, but the betting patter as well - horrible.

  • @myrtlebox Damn, it's a pot-splashing string-bet fest... dramatic, but not poker.

  • gay

  • damn this movie was terrible they have to do another 1

  • Anybody recognize Vince VanPatton!!!

  • I woulda called his 20K and took the pot.

  • this is how poker is really played!

    .

how lucky is it that the cameras were there for that game?

    .

watch + learn from the pro's!

  • Jesus,that Mario is a donk! :D

  • @MarvfromdaDland Because you see the holecards, donk. This is fine poker for great players, not for online free chip players.

  • This is not anything like how poker works.

  • hahaha this is not bluff this guy is made god lay down

  • @sale401348 I guess you don't win much at poker...How was that a good lay down?

  • @losebiramnickove Sorry Sorry Im didnt saw two 3's on the flop xD :)

  • embaarrassing!!

  • hahahahah bullshit...

  • This is soo garbage... lol

  • WICH MOVIE IS THIS?

  • i never got this.

the bad guy must think that Straus would call a RR on the flop with deuces.

which is, you know, quite ridiculous.

  • ya, Jack Strauss actually did this in a real game....

  • Acting fails galore right there... Makes 'Rounders' look Spielberg!

  • ...This shit is stupid.

  • That's why you don't talk at the poker table.

  • That's why you don't talk at the poker table.

  • I would never fold kings in that spot its fuckign ridiculous that kid can hav so much that u beat.. yes the dummy can hav a fullhouse but its still a ez shove on turn

  • rofl vince van patton

  • If this retarded scene is the best one i dont think i wanna see this movie lol

  • Can't call this a donkey play

  • Is this from a movie? If so whats it called? Thanks.

  • @ScottishDoonie It's from a film, or biopic, called 'High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story'.

  • @FavouriteBit Cheers man!

  • This is Tom Dwan's grandfather.

  • Bad movie, stupid scene

  • Umm.... the guy puts in $10k when dominated and gets super lucky by hitting his deuce... even if he intended to run the 'trick' the entire time, he's got 5 outs (another 7 or the 3 deuces).... 'cool' - but terrible play...

  • @jpsartrean i hope ur jokin around posting that lol

  • @cyatuesday if you knew anything about poker, you'd recognize his bet and (more so) his call on the flop is utterly a donkey play

  • @jpsartrean The point of the scene has nothing to do with cards and playing by the book. It's about the feel of poker. If you look at just the cards themselves, there is never a right or wrong play. It's all circumstantial, and you play it as it unfolds.

  • @jpsartrean The deuce did not give him the upper hand. His hand would be sevens and treys and his opponent's - kings and treys.

  • @AikiNickAMV the deuce DID give him the upper hand, in that he could now run the 'trick' - i.e., offer to turn either card over and make the 'donkey' think he had a full house... he was dominated on the flop... again, even if he INTENDS to 'bluff' the whole time, he's got 5 outs to do it...

  • True story.

  • Are people really giving these 2+2 hand analyses on a fictional scene? For real?

  • Also drunk players tend to talk to much when they have nothing!

  • lol Chris!? lol. My opinion is: if you are willing to play KK in position, you have to go all the way. Means, put him all in from post flop. Cause if you are going to call a raise post flop, next card if it was an A will be obvious for KK to fold= 77, 22, 33, AA, A7, A3, all those hands are winning against KK til te river. Therefore, my view the best play will be, NOT pay any card to view, NOT free card. Lets go to the end buddy! ALL IN !

  • Lets see, and granted I'm not the worlds greatest NLHE player. However I would go for 3-4x with the KK. Now when he checks and then gets led on for $5k, I would not min-raise back. I would go from $20-$30k. The checkraise is supposed to be the hammer. The other alternative would be to flat call and take a card off. If a diamond doesnt come I might check again or weak lead with the intention the bearded guy will fire back. When he does I put the hammer down. Instead this guy played fkn weak

  • Something tells me this play wouldn't work so well in a game with less than 100 BB...deepstack is a different story.

  • @qqnub100 soz but ur not a good enough player if u cant see how good how sick of a bluff that was soz my opinion.

  • An old guy raises with 27 next joke

  • who's dj suppose to be??

  • lol, is that chris ferguson in the background at 1:08.

  • @GdogMr i think he is Chuck Norris

  • What a terribly acted movie! Obviously written for non poker players. I don't care how big a donk is, who says these things outloud: "The reason that you have agreed to show me any card is that they are both the same card. Therefore I conclude that you have a full house (2s full of 3s)." And the other donk: "Hey I suppose you could have shown him either card and had a convincing story." LOL This scene could have had ZERO dialogue and I would have gotten the same info out of it.

  • fish vs fish.. fish will win

  • LOL who the fuck folds KINGS on a 7-3-3-2 board.....

  • @ggnub100 watch Phil Ivey folding KK on a small flop and then realise that you have a lot to learn.

  • @713500 they're not playing against phil ivey, are they?

  • @ggnub100 was a pleasent surprise to see that you didn't cursed me :) I just wanted to said that there are situations when you should considere twice before commiting yourself with a big hand even on a small board:)(i have a lot to learn too)

  • nice check , nice hard bang lol

  • Jack Straus
