I hate it when people use the term 'free-thinker'. We are all free-thinkers; free to think and believe anything we want. Some of us are just more gullible than others.

Nobody is a free thinker. Humans are conditioned animals. Genetics go through a selective process and behavior does too(consequences determine behavior). We behave because of a genetic endowment, pre-natal chemical environment, post-natal chemical environment, classical conditoning, opernat conditioning and traumatic factors. Why do people think the brain works independent of experience? They are conditioned to reject conditioning. Long live ignorance. Our culture is a model factory.

Your presupposition that the twins are the same is mistaken. Being in different parts of the womb, having different experiences, eating different foods and millions of other differences render your premise, which your argument is based on, completely false. As for your other comment. I said we are the product of our evolutionary history, environmental history and the current situation. I can't see where the conflict lies. If you find your assessment in conflict with that I can't argue.

As for being a free thinker You have a brain that developed through billions of years of evolution, you were conceived and then with every experience your brain formed different connections. Stimuli trigger thoughts and you think. What you think is dependent on millions of variables. The language you learned, the situations you are faced with, the brains development and countless other things.
