i just wish that those people who call for Wolves to pull off something sepcial this season would chat this from the stands, lets make this Dougans season, we need the level of support we had at the end of last season, getting beaten 6 - 0 and still cheering them off the pitch, pls, pls, for The Doog, lets get behind the lads
I always remember when I got his autograph at a local school fete. It was about 1971/72, and I was about eleven years old. He was a true gentleman. I remember watching so many times from the South bank at the Molineux. I still have fond memories of him scoring that goal that stopped Leeds United winning the double. Another one of my favourite memories is of when Wolves were playing Norwich City, and the goalposts collapsed. Who was helping to put it back up again? You guessed, the Doog!
Not much said about his time at Kettering Town FC in the mid 70s. Well, he was a true gent and good manager. Every away match he would come on the coach and thank us for coming. He also had time for everyone. RIP big man. Simon Nelson, Torbay.
Great first picture.I was there as an 11 year old at Maine Road in the 1960 FA cup semi-final between Blackburn and Sheff.Wednesday.Photo shows Dougan celebrating scoring his and Rovers second goal. What memories!

Yeah, Johnny Cash, another of my idols, it seemed the most fitting piece of music for this little tribute to The Doog
