100% the wrong way to do this... This is the 'cut corners' way for doing it. The sloped wood panel will flex over time and floor tiles/grout will be susceptible to cracking. DO NOT DO THIS!! The pre-pan should always be a mortar bed or a solid core pre-formed piece (ie kerdi).
