I'd be interested in seeing is someone who had not been indoctrinated with religion or had even ever heard of western religions had the same experiences. Also if someone has a 10% chance of being revived they are not dead theyre dying. When someone is dying their brain gets less oxygen and a brain that experiences trauma is capable of hallucination especially if the person was already a believer. There are people who have nearly died and report none of these things so what about them?

@cejason Don't worry about it. You're 14 years old, you've got your whole life ahead of you. I went through the same fear, at ages 18 and 21, but I got over it very quickly because I found a sense of direction in life. I'm 21, and I've got plenty of years left to live, and one thing I've learned is that if you live your life fearing death, you'll miss out. Don't worry about now, just go out and enjoy your life as best as you can. Good luck to you!

When your brain is dying a chemical is released. It's the same chemical released during REM sleep. People who experience these sort of things aren't always lying, but that doesn't mean what they experienced was anything more than hallucination.
