As long as you know the following words you can sort of follow where they're going: ichikai - first floor nikai - second floor sankai - third floor yonkai - fourth floor (they also say "froa" a few times for "floor") ue - up shita - down migi (and also "raito") - right hidari (and also "refto") - left Also, when they say Hiroshi, they mean the room where they found the guy in the closet (Hiroshi) (oops, spoilers!).

I can sorta understand some of the Japanese. The thing that caught me off guard was on Status screen for Hiroshi it said "中学生" "Chuugakusei," as in middle school student. He doesn't look it at all, even for anime standards. xD

Sounds like one of the guys playing got freaked out when they checked the toilet. XD Their Takeshi voice sounds like an old man. "O, oi... mou kaerouze..."

Some Let's Plays actually make the commentaries after they recorded the video, or they heavily edit the result, or there are even non-video picture Let's Plays. I think the jikkyou plays are only live commentary ones (if you consider the meaning).

I don't suppose anyone might be able to help me? ^^; It seems that when I download AoOni (V. 6.2, or something along those lines...) from the official website, the game is always lacking text...I was lucky enough to find a download to an English patch of the 5.2 version somewhere else, but...I'd like to play the new version, or an older one, prefferably.

@DoitsuSanNoBAKA You need to either have Japanese applocale, or set your language to Japanese. You can do this by going into control panel->region and language->administrative->clic­k on change system locale under language for non-unicode programs, then change it to Japanese.

@kitanaishot mmhh ,most of the case it's true ,but for ao oni the last official English version is native ,so AppLocale is useless in that case.

In fact the problem is because of the wrong lib used to initialize the game.

To correct that you need to open Game.ini file (look in ao oni folder) and change RGSS103J.dll to RGSS102E.dll ,and it will works without using AppLocale ^^
