@JasonKoropatkin hell of a story and player im sure but my friend the greatest that never was is one mr Dwight Anderson the Blur!!!! the original Dwayne Wade plat at UK let drugs mess him up he was the number one ranked player in the country in front of Mark Aguire and Issa Thomas
WOW!!! Been looking for this one! Oh and scotlarock, I'll continue for you... "I mean straight up, and as he spread his arms in the air he said... I shoot, like a GOD" Great commercials!!! Damn where's the rest guys???
those sneakers @ 0:01 was one of the best basketball sneakers ever. Reebok had real comfortable hightop sneakers that supported ya ankles. Those were the Reebok Commitments ( however ya spell it ) they felt so comfortable. There was another reebok commercial where the guy tapped the ball against the backboard twice before dunking and another when a guy shot the ball and the guy said " you shoot like a God " .. Oh and there was a Avia commercial too that was sick
Yeah, I remember that!!!! Those were the other 2 "Playground legends", The "Wizard" and "Showtime"! Man, I wanted all 3 pairs back in '89! I miss those days!
Why is this totally lame commercial so appealing?

Best Non-NBA/Pro Hoops ad. Lamar Mundane is the Greatest that never was, & and he still is.

great commercial! Was the motivation for my younger brother. When he was in high school, rather than dunk on you, he'd shoot 3's from NBA range

oldyze - u hit on the head! Lamar is still legend; not a lot of flash, just doing what he got to do. Hoops like it should be.

The single most greatest basketball commercial ever made. The simplicity of the commercial and the TRUE essence of streetball. Nuff said!!

Well Said...I would give anything to see video clips of all the "Old School" hoop legends.
