  • Though most natural harmonics are at the 5th, 7th, and 12th frets, you mentioned the 3rd as well. I would recommend trying the 4th before trying the 3rd as it is much easier.

  • @ChromeFang Yeah, I've found that out since then. I do dimebag squeals there now.

  • I have that exact same white ibanez!

  • @MaidenDio252 cool :)

  • no fajnie fajniee.;D

  • @Karola1126 no fun fun?

  • @TheFireball100 yet cool.

  • harry potter play the guitar? cool..

  • @GuitarLeo096 lol once again. haha

  • @TheFireball100 hehe just joking! nice vid man! :)

  • @GuitarLeo096 Yeah, I know. Everybody says I look like Harry Potter. haha

  • thx!

Assuming you ordered this brand new, did the guitar come packaged inside the hardshell case or were there 2 separate packages in the mail? (pls let me kno if u didnt buy brand new).

    Thanks heaps!

  • @johneldridgets Yep, it came brand new, online, at FullersGuitar. I don't know if they carry them right now. But it came it a gig bag with their information on it. Got it for 999 USD. I'm sure you can get it from MusiciansFriend as well.

  • Hi,

    pls help me!

i am a beginner and i am wondering whether this guitar can play songs like nothin but a good time or fallen angel with it's original pickups.

    Thanks heaps!

  • @johneldridgets Yep, this Jackson SLSMG came with 81/85 EMGs. Make sure if you get this guitar it has those pickups. These were the factory pickups, they sound great for anything except country. =) It's great for hard rock and metal styles.

  • weird lookin jackson you got there

  • Cool vid man! Tnx for the lesson... Can you also explain how to do a semi harmonic? It would really help me out!

  • Nice video, I didn't really know how to do a pinch harmonic, but that really helped. Will give it a try tomorrow because now it's 3 am xD

And I'll try tap harmonics too, those sound interesting.

    Thanks for sharing your skills.

  • @FlooD1993 cool! I'm glad it helped!

  • what is the name of his guitar?

  • @riten1000 Jackson SLSMG, the color is "inferno red"

  • @TheFireball100 is this guitar good for beginers looking for a metal guitar?

  • @comedybenj I think so. It's very easy to play on and it's lightweight.

  • @TheFireball100 should i get this or the sl3mg?

  • @comedybenj Well...it's all according to what you are looking for. The SL3MG is a bit more expensive than the SLSMG. However the SL3MG has a trem system and the SLSMG does not. The overall specs seem to be the same on both of the guitars. Notice the difference of the headstock between the two guitars, too. It's if you wanna deal with the trem system - if you're gonna use it or not. Also consider the look of the guitar - see which you like the best. I wouldn't mind owning a SL3MG myself.

  • @comedybenj BTW, I compared these two guitars on musician's friend's website.

  • @TheFireball100 is thee floyd rose hard to tune for beginers like me

  • @comedybenj Well...you can't just simply tune the guitar with the tuning pegs like normal. You have to get the floyd rose set up. On a floyd rose, the strings are what keeps the tension on the springs. If you are near someone who can set up the guitar for you I would be cool. You can still learn to set up the guitar - I'm still learning. So in direct answer to your question...it is somewhat difficult for beginners.

  • @TheFireball100 does the guitar feel really light and plasticy

  • @comedybenj I wouldn't say plasticy or fragile. It's just a light guitar...very durable.

  • @TheFireball100 do you like jews and blacks

  • @comedybenj Yes. I believe we are all special in God's eyes.

  • @TheFireball100 god dosen't exist.

  • @comedybenj I believe one day you will change your mind. And i hope for your soul's sake, that you do before you die. We don't live forever. We must prepare ourselves.

  • @TheFireball100 prepare myself for what being cremated. god dosen't exist are you jewish or christian?

  • @comedybenj A christian =)

  • @TheFireball100 i guess you hate death metal?

  • @comedybenj I don't hate the genre. It's the message that counts. you can play an style in the world, and the style in itself it fine. However, most death metal stuff is full of stuff that makes me feel uncomfortable.

As far as preference goes, I like to hear some actual singing and just screaming. I view screaming necessary (or perhaps I should just say cool according to my taste) when emphasizing words.

An example is a Christian band I listen to: RED. their website is "redmusiconline"

  • @TheFireball100 i hate christians

  • @comedybenj haha. what you hate is God. You're mad at God.

  • @TheFireball100 alot of christians annoy me

  • Perfect man i didnt know how o do tap harmonics and now i know. Fantastic explination

  • @Warnazzz Thank you! I'm glad to have been a help. :)
