  • God bless your family.

  • oh that face @ 1:42 sooo cute

  • Wow, this video makes me believe more in God...what a miracle!!...........

God bless your family , thank you for sharing this video with us :)

  • God bless you great family :)

  • how much did your micro preemie weigh? i was born at 26 weeks gestation in 1991 weighing 1lb 14oz and 13 3/4 inches long and i survived and i think micro preemies survive due to our will and strength

  • 0:58 made me smile....just shows how tiny he was!

  • when were you able to bring max home from the hospital?

  • @sweetbabigrl He came home 93 days after he was born.

  • O, so cute is he!

  • Wow, I have been watching your video's for years, seeing your son with his jokes and helping you with cooking. I had no idea the "rest of the story". I caught this video on the sidebar and watched with amazement. He has made wonderful progress, what a blessing. God bless you and your family.

  • 0:48 oh my that is the cutest little thing, thanks to God that he pulled through, what a beautiful baby.

  • I don't care what anyone says, hes beautiful! And he's so cute and his jokes makes me laugh. He is soo sweet.

  • OMG IS THIS MAX?

  • he is really cute.. ^^

i was born in 28th week with 3.5 lbs.. and my heartbeat stop twice.. thank God I'm alive.. I'm 19 now..

  • Is a premature baby mean they come really early? Thanks...

  • @Malloryrocks21able It means they come before their due date

  • @Malloryrocks21able Like a while before their due date not just a couple of weeks like a month or 2

  • Yay, I love happy endings!

  • My nephew was born in the 31th week (i think), luckily, he alive.

  • @Tesseracto99 They are amazing little creatures! Happy our nephew is okay

  • @Tesseracto99 same like my 1st nephew..but he was born in the 33rd week...he also lucky and alive...

  • wowow.. god is really great!.. wish our baby will same him too,, now he is 2days old..and he is in the incubator right now, still developing his lungs..

  • @kaivhel Sending you good thoughts and prayers that your little one is okay

  • Why was he born so early?

  • @zashie84th Doctors weren't able to give me one reason, there were many complicated factors involved.

  • maxim is so cute lovely. I'm wishing all babies health ,happiness and prosperity

  • @londonerhic Thank-you!

  • my son was born at 28 weeks 2 lbs 14 1/2 in. he by all means was not supposed to make it. i had NO amniotic fluid from about 3 1/2 months on to the end of my pregnancy. everything happens for a reason.

  • @Polly13Pinhead Happy your boy survived, they are real little fighters!

  • I couldn't help but tear up watching your video. He is amazing! May God Bless you and your family for many more years to come.

  • @amberlu87 thanks very much, we do feel blessed

  • I gave birth to a micro prem baby last month...she was born at 25 weeks and 3 days due to my urine infection...the baby now can breathe by herself, have to use a ventilator...i wish miracle will happen to her...

  • @jinghee My son was on a ventilator for over a month when he was born. Don't worry about the ventilator, babies that small get tired too quickly to keep breathing on their own all the time. She will come off the ventilator eventually! It will be a long, long road for both of you but babies are tough and I think you will get your miracle.

    Don't lose hope.

  • @jinghee My twin girls were born at 25 +3 also...totally unexpected. 3 months in the hospital with lots of ups and downs. They both required heart surgery (PDA ligation) and were on the ventilator for a month and on O2 for another month... Don't discourage! Just be there for them and don't forget to take care of yourself. Now at 24 months, they are in perfect health with no delays whatsoever. Miracles do happen!! I wish your family the best.

  • Wow, what a cute little boy! :-) Im happy for you that your son is healthy and such a beautiful boy, it´s amazing how those little things fight for life. Well done to you and your family for going through all this, it´s definitely worth it. Just seeing him on the pictures brought a big smile to my face, he is so precious.

  • @ulrike1103 thanks very much for the lovely comment! I count my blessings every day that we have him.

  • i've been watching your videos about two weeks and I can always feel the love you put into your cooking. Now I know why you radiate love even through your videos. God Bless you and your family he has given you. I think I love you now after seeing this beautiful love story.

  • @Tiawannawanna My son always says he can taste the love in my recipes, lol! Thanks for watching my videos

  • Interesting, thanks for the upload.

  • @iliketruth Thanks for watching.

  • awwww so sweet of u but sad at the same time he was born at 25 weeks old?poor him i feel so bad but at least hes still alive:)!

  • @gervanna2 That's what I felt when he was born. Having a premature baby at 25 weeks is not a happy event. Lots of tears and worrying, but the joy does come as you fall deeply in love with your baby and they start to grow and thrive. He has brought me much joy since then that more than makes up for the suffering he put me through in the NICU

  • whats a preemie parent?

  • @ashleyaleen1

    preemie=premature baby

    I had a premature baby = I was a preemie parent

  • 0:52 - So teeny!!! This is so sweet!

  • @iLikeCookie88 I think he was about 4lbs at that point, I forget how tiny he was sometimes. :)

  • Awwww im about to cry i hope he is an great kid :D

    C

  • @sweetpatooty28 How kind of of you to leave me a comment!

I wish I had taken more photos at the time than I did, because it is almost impossible for me to imagine him being that small.

I know exactly what you mean. :)

  • What a blessing he is! I had a 28 weeker in '07. She only lived for 4 months. Your son is such a handsome young man!

  • @carlynicoleelliotte Sorry for your loss :( I'm sure those four months you had with her will be with you the rest of your life.

I will give my son an extra hug today from you.

  • @ginaven1 He is growing up so fast! It is hard to remember that he was ever that small. :)

  • i was only 3 weeks premature and 6 pounds. Hasnt really affected me at all except i had asthma the first 5 years of my life, thats about it.

  • @rossapher24 Happy to hear you have no long term effects from your prematurity. :)

  • same here when your going threw that it seems to be the only ones who really help you get threw it omg they where 2lbs thats really small but big for there weeks lol they would have been pritty good size babies if they where born on time mine was a 28weeker and he was 2lbs 10oz and they said he was big for his week how long where they in nicu?mine was for 6weeks because no waight limit he was 4lbs 5oz when i took him home! and there both soo adorable

  • @Megajr122 Thanks!

Wishing you a healthy full term baby.

  • Thank you for showing!! I also gave birth to a preemie at 25 weeks and watching your video brought back all the memories. I had tears running down my face. I saw him walk pass me a minute ago and started to giggle. Those sleepless nights...wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. He's 9 years old now and has been the tallest kid in his class since he started school...imagine that. LOL God Bless You!

  • @MyJWilli I really think that we love our kids more than full term babies. I think we really understand just how precious they are.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    :)

  • my son rhys was born at 26 weeks seeing vids like this still chokes me up just shows how lucky we are to have them he is a hansom little man it has to be the scariest thing i have ever been through

  • @hu153 I also still get tears in my eyes when I see videos of other preemies on here too. I think that because of what we have gone through we just don't take our kids for granted as much like parents of other "regular" kids do. We know just how lucky we are!

The whole NICU experience was only 95 days, but they were the toughest and longest of my life and I will never forget them.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. :)

  • God bless him x

  • @sexyjaybabe Thank you!

  • @yoyomax12 Your welcome (:

Is this the son that says jokes at the end of your delicious cooking? (:

  • @sexyjaybabe I only have the one child, so, yes, the joke teller is the same person as in this video. :)

  • That is breathtaking. I am 25 weeks pregnant today and that is amazing to see similar of what my baby looks like.

  • @lovins88 Basically they are complete little people! I hope you don't get to see you baby for another few weeks at least!

  • This is such a great video!

  • @evethemakeupartist Thanks!

  • What a cute lil fella! Glad hes ok!

  • @venuslock35 Thanks! We are very proud of our son. :)

  • Wow I just found this video of yours as I was going through the ones I hadn't watched yet. I suspected Max was a preemie, as a mother of a preemie you can tell. My daughter was 2 pounds 14 ounces at birth. She is now a healthy normal 20 year old. It was a terrifying journey those first months.

    cindy

  • @sweetdesigninc Hi Cindy!

Every once and a while I will see a child and just "know" they were preemies, so I understand what you mean. Although it is less noticeable now, Max never had a round head as a baby. He had the preemie 'lunchbox head" as I call it from laying on one side or the other because of the vent tube. :)

The journey was terrifying and endless at the time. Happy to hear your daughter is doing well. :0

  • 3 of my 4 boys were preemies my youngest is 3 yrs old now but spent quite a while in the NICU he was born with PPHN. During the first 2 wks of his life he had 3 full blood transfusions and he was too unstable to turn in his bed to prevent bed sores, he ended up getting one on his left ear and he has a scare on his ear lobe from it. Every time I see it, it brings tears to my eyes because it reminds me just how lucky I am to have him. Im glad your son is okay and it looks like he is growing well.

  • @iluvfreakychicks My son was very sick and they had to do a very quick intubation, pinning his hear down with tape. It caused a section to lose blood circulation and a piece of it die. Now Max has a little "notch" on his right ear. His own little war wound!

  • Thank You! I really needed to see that right now! My sister is currently 25 weeks pregnant, and could have to deliver at any moment... Her daughter Mackenna Faith has severe heart defects, making it so large that her lungs have no place to develop... They say she has a 1% chance of survival. But I must have faith that miracles can happen!

  • @Mommy2Braxton Sending you good thoughts and prayers that your little Mackenna beats the odds!

  • He's beautiful, I had twins at 20 weeks 1lb each and the hospital pursuaded me into letting them die!

they said it would be better for them and cost too much money to try to save them! Good luck with your son he's a true miracle!

  • @tamgrsw I'm so sorry for your loss. I never forget how fortunate we are to have our son. Thank you.

  • God bless your child :) it made me cry when i saw this video.

  • @krejz1 I thank God every day for my son. :) Thanks for letting me know it touched you.

  • @krejz1 I thank God every day for my son. :) Thanks for letting me know it touched you.

  • I would have been frightened to death - yet he's beautiful and brilliant and so much fun! How wonderful that things worked out so well for him. I have enjoyed getting to know Max through your videos; in some ways he reminds me of my son when he was that age - almost 30 years earlier.

  • @thizizliz I was frightened to death! But you have a baby to take care of and you just take it one day at a time and love them. :)

Research says that it is unlikely that any baby born at that gestational age will be normal. We don't know how he would be different if he would have gone full term, but we are very happy with his progress! thanks Liz

  • Tammy this is a beautiful video. OMG he was so tiny. Look at you girl... Oh gosh this video just made me cry. Look at MOTS with hair!!! haha. Oh Max is just adorable and his story is so wonderful. He's got the best Mama in the world that's for sure. Hugs and Smooches!

  • @imperceptibleme Both Mots and I had hair! I had really long hair and even after having a baby I was skinnier then than now!

    Thanks Melissa.

  • Beautiful! This is a great video to share with other mothers of premies.

  • @ABQdoubleG Gigi! That is exactly why I posted this. I found great inspiration in looking at photos of older preemies when Max was still teeny tiny. It gives people hope.

  • wow

  • @mamahnita Thanks!

  • Thanks for the upload. I had preemie twins 9/09 Baby A was 2lb 2oz and Baby B was 1lb 2oz they were in the incubators for long. Baby by came home Jan 8 of this year. He has had many problems but watching your video gives me hope that he will be well. Thanks!

  • @TropicalBeauty1 My son had a very rough go in the NICU many of the typical preemie problems. He has turned out to be a very normal, loving child. I wish you all the best, hang in there, it will get better.

  • Does anyone know the artist name or song title?

  • I selected the song from YT audio swap selection. Sorry, I don't know the title or the artist. I checked the edit video function and it isn't listed there.

  • Thank you for posting... It gives me hope. I'm pregnant and with my last one everyday was a fight to keep her in every day possible constantly on breathine lucky i carried her until 38 weeks but I am EXTRA worried about this one... mother's intuition maybe? I dont know but pretty scared I hope that i will carry this one to full term

  • Sending you good vibes and best of luck for an uneventful pregnancy!

    Thanks for the comment!

  • what a gorgeous little man you have...just shows how a baby is a complete miracle and has the strength to fight through...you are well and truely blessed xxx

  • We are blessed! I am reminded everyday when I see how well he is doing now.

He is almost as tall as I am and 90lbs now!

  • oh my..sorry but i was realy scared to see his pics when he was in the incubator..

i will be scared to touch him if i was you coz i think he was so brittle..

    but thank God!..

    max is realy big now..

and loves to eat what you get for him..

    LOVE LOVE!

  • He was scary looking in that incubator, a little alien creature really... After a little while you get over your fear and just love them for what they are, just tiny babies.

Thanks so much for you comment, it warms my heart.

  • im so sorry if i sound sarcastic when i said scary..

    but your welcome!..

    take care!..

    take care of max too!..

  • I was a 25 wker too, I weighed 1lb 12 oz check out my videos.....

  • Then you are a little miracle too!

You have a lovely voice! Your parents must be sooo proud! bravo.

  • Thanks for sharing your journey! I just gave birth Saturday to a little girl 25 weeks preemie! We have a bumpy road ahead, so its very encouraging to see positive outcomes! May God continue to bless your family!

  • Congrats!!!

Don't forget to take lots of pictures/video, you will not remember how small she was when she is ten (like my son now).

  • never give up!

  • sad

  • It was sad at the beginning, but he has brought us great joy.

  • Aww, So Happy For you.

Such A Handsome Kid, Especially From Seeing Him Beeing That Tiny When He Was Born!

    Bless x

  • He is an awesome kid! Thanks so much!

I am thankful everyday that he ended up doing so well after such a rough start.

  • Very lovely, so wonderful to see how he is growing so beautifully.

  • Thanks! I never forget about his precarious start in life, I try never to take him for granted.

  • I WAS A TINY BABY TOO! A PREEMIE TOO! My mom was a young mother. Now i am 31 years old about 80lbs and im 4 feet 8!!!!!

  • These babies are real little fighters!

    Thanks.

I'm going to answer your comment on my channel page with this as well.

I have a coconut macaroon recipe in my recipe playslist. You just need to go to it and the recipe is in the sidebar.

  • Amazing, thank you

  • You are welcome, thanks for stopping by.

  • My son was also born at 25 weeks, he is now 2 1/2 years old, and it has been one difficult and amazing journey. Thanks so much for sharing your son's story, it helps us to remember to look toward the future.

  • Parents of preemies know how difficult and how amazing the journey actually is.

I have a healthy thriving ten year old now, but you never forget the time when you were in the hospital with them. I'm convinced we love our kids more (or at least appreciate them more) than "regular" parents.

  • Ahh that made me cry with tears of joy...Im currently 25wks.

  • It is amazing how they are complete little human beings at 25 weeks, just small.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

    :)

  • ah its so good to see your lovely little boy doing so well .. really lovely to see his amazing journey.

  • He is all the more special to us because of his rough beginnings. Thanks so much for leaving us a comment. :)

  • This was beautiful. I'm so happy you're story turned out so positive. Do you know who sings the song on the video?
