  • I bred blackthroats back in the 90s and it takes 180 days for incubation. The hard part is trying to place them in good homes.I do think males get bigger then females with these monitors, btms.Nice video Thanks

  • have you had these since they were little? how did you know which one was a male and which was a female or did you get them already big? I've had mine since they were little from the same batch so I am hoping that they're a pair. I can't wait until they give me babies. how many babies survived? just the 3?

  • @anneya I got Moggie when she was yearling size, and Wilson at 7 yrs old(although he was about yearling size due to underfeeding and underheating). There is no way to determine sex definitively except internally or if you SEE a male evert the penii. Since it was her first clutch, most of the eggs died. Breeding/hatching can be very difficult as can getting them to pair up. Good luck!! I'm most proud of hatching these beauties!

  • females usually get bigger

  • how big can these get pls tell me

  • Wow, she is massive compared to Wilson.

  • She's been properly fed, he's actually older than she is! Proof that care matters!

  • how long do they life?

  • She laid 28 eggs. I have 3 good looking ones in the incubator! Thanks so much for commenting!

  • Definitely courting, that head bobbing gives that away.

Fingers crossed you get a little bit more "activity" soon!
