We have two massive universities, the Newcastle Metro Arena that alot of artists have to add extra dates in because of high demand. It's very popular for people from not just around the UK, but alot of people from the rest of Europe come down to Newcastle for a night out on the lash.

Oh, and we also have a better football club :)

Tyneside is more than twice the size of Wearside and has built bigger and better ships than Wearside. The Wear was to shallow to build big ships. Newcastle has always been the richer more successful place and had a monoply in the coal trade. Sunderland is a dead end town.
