I recommend to anyone who watched this movie, read the book! The author, Leon Uris, delves much deeper into the history of the Jewish immigration to Palestine and the events surrounding the Partition. He manages to come at the story from every angle: as a Sabra, a Holocaust survivor, a sympathetic outsider; and in telling the tragedies of their lives, he'll rip your heart out, because you know there were real people just like them.
This footage shows the very peace to israel and it shows people standing for their rights and freedom like america did back in 1776 when they faught the british people Israel and America are alike we both stand for freedom and justice for all and to think we share a common enemy dont forget 6 day war and september 11 2001 same people with such evil acts.

I always thought this movie was super slow paced. Just dull. I can't stay awake through it. It should've been cut down to less than half this long.
