These 2 guys sound good. It's too bad Canada doesn't have much of a supportive music industry. These 2 guys will probably play gigs for the next 5 years, put out some albums, but will always have to have a day job. The business end of the music industry is struggling to stay alive. Record shops have closed left, right and centre, people rarely "buy" tunes when they can download for free. So I hope these guys just enjoy the music for the music's sake. There's no livliehood in it unfortunately.
@canadianclassic08 It's all in the live show now, no more studio magic puppets and slight of hand. You want to make money being a musician these days? Play live and play good!
Wow I love how self centered and oblivious americans are. You have no idea where these guys come from. Victoria has so much support for local music that it wont take long for Vince to hit the mainstream. In fact, I think they're already there. Lets keep laughing at americans...check out "Rick Mercer talking to americans", and get a good laugh!
@gafgaft oh yeah, lets bash america every chance we get. for you to say that all americans are self centered and oblivious is a rediculous stereotype. yes, there are many of us that are indeed self-centered and "oblivious," but to say that all americans are this way is not practical.
thats where your wrong, Billy Talent started out as a high school band, did you look to see how far they are now. They are one of the best Canadian bands. They played at the Olympics, went on tour in Canada, U. K., Finland, Norway, Luxembourg, Belgium andGermany. They are on their 4th album and their songs are often making it on the top of the music charts on tv. Their Head Guitarist Ian D'Sa is the 3rd best guitarist in Canada.
@canadianclassic08 Canada does and I am going to go see them tonight. They don't have to make it BIG if they don't want to. Who knows how they want to live their lives, do you?
check out Maurice's other band vid, great song: Maurice - Love it love
Well the song writing process isn't something a DJ does, but it's something songwriters do, duh. That's like being impressed by someone doing anything that is their job.
1:20 - Seriously. First thing that came to my mind when she said "package"... Glad I'm not the only one with a dirty mind, sheesh.

So I think they could make it big.
