  • I like Rev. Clay Evans....the little I've seen of him. Rev. James Moore is my man.

  • It is often said that when one loses his/her sight, their other senses get stronger. In Rev. James Moore's case, when his sight went, his anointing got stronger.

  • Happy Birthday (My Big Brother) Rev James L. Moore....Feb.1 2011

  • Jesus said that the wind goes where it wants to go, So does the Spirit of God.

  • ?? Can you answer these questions ??

Ac:10:48: And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

    WHAT'S THE NAME??________________

Ac:22:16: And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

    WHAT'S THE NAME??________________

  • @7pentecostal7, YES YES YES!!!! JESUS JESUS JESUS, THE CHEIF APOSTLE!!!LOL...

  • M't:28:19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

    WHAT'S THE NAME??________________

  • @7pentecostal7, TITLES OF WHO "JESUS" IS!!!!!!!!!U GONE MAKE ME ACT A FOOL OVA HERE!!

  • @7pentecostal7 Jesus said, when you have seen me, u have seen the father, for the father is in me and i in the father who sent me. YES, Jesus and Johovah are 2 , YET they stand on ONE truth! Jesus is a representer! He stands before man for his father. He is so in tuned with his father , and so about his business and his ways that seeing him and hearing him is equivalent to seeing and hearing his Father!

  • Lu:24:47: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem

    WHAT'S THE NAME??________________

Ac:4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

    WHAT'S THE NAME??________________

  • @7pentecostal7, nobody but Jesus! Apostolic all day!

  • @optimistic719 I was born in a baptist family, then my mother joined an apostolic church, then later i joined a Church of god in Christ church. People tend to fight over this, BUT I hear Jesus only on one end and Trinity on the other, But people need to realize, its BOTH. There is a Father, A son , and A holy spirit, and they all function as one body, Jesus being the representation of them all! Can the hand function without the arm? Can the head function without the neck? I think not.

  • @Dreambro1 you done preached...

  • @Dreambro1 indeed this is the word indeed

  • @7pentecostal7 the name is Jesus. No man goeth unto the Father , but by me! Thats what Jesus Said!

  • Black folks should be he fir to receive healing, and see manifestations of the spirit, because we believe in miracles. Why didn't someone stop the service, and prayed for Him,and He got healed. We are behide. And its a shame we don't walk in the manifestation of the work of the cross.Jesus doesn't just save, but Heal also.

  • You are so right, but no one believes on that level. In the book of ACTS, they DID NOT tolerate sickness on any level. They simply prayed until a healing occured. We pray against cancer but accept diabetes. Most churches are simply waiting for a busload of Holy Ghost or miracles but that is not how it works. At any time, we can have a miracle. We must stop preaching about how God "is about to" work and know that he has already completed the work with his stripes and on Calvary.

  • @mrbilingual what you said is so true!

  • @mrbilingual you betta preach now

  • thank god we had brother moore for as long as we had him

  • OMG! I am very Blessed by Rev. James Moore, he truely is a inspiration to me, Im extremely blessed to have heard his annoited voice....God is AWESOME, cause i never known about Rev. James Moore til i Youtube some gospel music and came across these videos...***tears*** I know it wasnt a mistake and I know it wasnt nobody but GOD who lead me to it..been up all morning tryna soak it all in!!!! Thank God for Rev. James Moore!!! Thank you so much 4 sharing Lord knows this has ministered to my soul

  • to nebomb1982:

The early great Rev. James Moore was highly anointed. I saw him sing and preach live (in a wheelchair) and he had the entire auditorium slain under the power of the Holy Ghost. Many people testify about how they listened to his music and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

  • is that rudy that was nxt to him??? it look like him

  • One word comes to my mind when I hear this man sing...... FIRE!!! We just lost Bishop Walter Hawkins... another powerhouse. We are losing these great people one after the other. We know where they are going but down here is so sad and empty without them.

  • I miss my brother and his wonderful smile

  • to taylorandsara14:

Did you know Rev. James Moore personally?

  • I think I would of been shouting all over that church.

  • Anyone that watches this HIGHLY ANNOINTED testimony..........can't possibly be the same after it is ended

  • to GospelGurly:

The early great Rev. James Moore was a soldier for Yeshua. He never stopped. These people today get a paper cut and can't minister because of the paper cut.

  • That was a powerful message!!!! I lived!!!

  • @Slimboy153 u can say that again

  • I miss my Uncle James! The last time I seen him was when he preached n sang at my Dad's funneral. Shortly after he passed. This is my father's brother, and I am a witness that Rev James Moore is still much alive in the Moore n Hatton Family. He lives through us. He will always be here in spirit. Missing you uncle James.. Tamarka

  • to cutetaye:

What is the Hatton family in relation to James Moore. Was Hatton James Moore's mother's maiden name.

In the James Moore song "Halleluyah" (album: "I WIll Trust In the Lord") the lead singer says "uncle James I love to Halleluyah praise his name." Are you that lead singer? Is the lead singer your cousin?

  • Did he also lose his sight??

  • i think so, thats what i was wondering.

  • WOW! I just saw the Rev. Dr. Marcus Cosby in his younger years on this clip, WOW!

  • Jesus Jesus Jesus !!!!!

  • Lord Have Mercy!!!!

That wasn't nothing but the Holy Ghost!

Thank you for posting this. I don't know about anybody else but 12 whole years after it was recorded, I needed t hear and see this.

  • Rev. Moore is truly a blessing, and God use him. Thank u Jesus!

  • I want to know what happento james more did he pass on o is he still here

  • Gone a while!!

  • @mrpowell71 He passed in 2000 I believe.

  • this my boi

  • Rev Moore could really sing. I miss him.

  • Dr Martin is still my Dr. here in Jackson,MS

  • Ill tell you all what its not easy but try looking up Jayne Smith. Her youtube name is "gettingitdone" See what she says about sickness and let me know.. God Bless!!

  • What difference does it make to even comment on how he died and how preventable it was? Kevante, what you are saying could be true, but there is not need at this point to even mention it. And sometimes people have thyroid issues that cause other things. We don't know that one thing didn't trigger another. Respect the death and life and someone. That is disrespectful to even publicly post that.

  • GREATESTSINGEREVER: Rev. James Moore died of multiple health complications in 1999. He had colon cancer, diabetes, a couple other issues. Some comments on this page made by others are truly ignorant. Things like "he did it to himself," or "if he would've done this," or "if he wouldve done that." Some need to embrace the homegoing of a soldier gone home to glory, and stop trying to be everybody's doctor. Rest in Peace Rev Moore. We love you

  • How did he die nd when did he die

  • he died june 7, 2000 at the age of 44 from pneumonia!!!

  • to those of you that found offence toward my comments regarding the death of rev. james moore, i apologize and i ask your forgiveness!!!! however, i "will" say this and i won't comment anymore!!!! whether you be young/old, black/white, medication/no medication, whatever, let us implore our best efforts to take care of ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's all i have to save!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

  • from diabetes.

  • (contd)

I see it as God took that man away from here because he had done all that he put him here to do. He had no more work for this man to do. God already knew from tha time he put him here, when he was gonna take him away. We dnt know if he was in pain or anything like that. We are jus thinking that the Diabetes and kidney faliure is what took him out, but it isnt. God took him away from here. Ima jus leave it at that.

  • True God has certain times for us and certain tasks He wants us to do. But sometimes, (and I'm not talkin' about this dear brother) God takes us home early if we disobey Him. My beloved Bishop in Key West, FL was called to start revival on that island, but he put that second to his family business. The church would be locked and silent while he "took care of business". God sent 2 prophets to warn him "you can't serve God & mammon" but he didn't listen. He died a young man. How sad!
  • FOCUSEDENTERTAINMENT: Thank you for posting a VERY POSITIVE word regarding Rev. James Moore and sharing your insight. I'm realizing that some comments posted by others on this page are just down spoken out of their flesh and very carnal. I appreciate your thoughts. I can tell that you walk with the Lord. Be blessed!!

  • If you read your scripture, you will see that the Lord has told us that "Ye who is without fault, cast the first stone," "Judge not that ye be judged," and also "Touch not my anointed, and do my prophet no harm," and "The power of life and death is in the tongue." We all need to make sure that our soul is right when it's our time, regardless how we go. You really need to give it up.

  • 2) Did anyone of us write the medical report? Did the Lord personally tell you why He took Rev. James Moore on to Glory?? How do we know that it was diabetes alone that caused him to pass? Did you ever stop to think that maybe the Lord called him home because it was His time?? There are people that live with diabetes for years and years and don't pass as quickly as Rev. Moore did. If you don't have the full story, STOP PASSING JUDGEMENT.

  • Okay, I'm sorry but I'm getting ready to blow a gasket here, and Lord forgive me. HOW DO WE KNOW THAT ALL WAS PREVENTABLE?? For the record, colon cancer is not self-inflicted. It is caused by tumors and blockage in the colon or small/large intestines. Colon cancer is not self inflicted, so do your homework before you post comments.

  • you know i think everything you said is true, but its the tone you said it in, and let me ask you what are your downfalls in life it might not be weight but theres something that the BLOOD OF GOD can clean right now. He also had more health problems before his diabetes, you know the sad thing tho, he probaly did moore for GOD in bad health than most healthy christians will ever do in a life time. Just a nugget for ya.

  • focusedentertainment, everybody has downfalls in their life!!! i know i do!!! but there still has to be "personal accountability" rev. moore had colon cancer, diabetes, blindness, kidney failure, unable to walk, kidneys shut completly down, and dialysed 3x week!!! the man suffered horrically!!! does that not get to you!!!

  • no doubt he was a man of GOD and he soldiered on till the end, but i'm saying it did not have to be that way. the man was only 44 years old, a very young man!!! this is not the time for ignorance, we have to take care of ourselves!!!! i'm not saying this out of vanity!!!!!!! this is the gospel truth!!!! this is what GOD wants us to do, believe it or not!!!! there are alot of diseases in the world, some of the preventable!!! and what he went through was absolutely preventable!!!!

  • And by the way, it's spelled "Dialyse, not dialsize."

  • diva2678, what i'm saying is that it hurts me to my heart to see rev. james moore in the condition that he was in. i love rev james moore and i wish he was still here today. i'm no doctor, nor do i have a medical degree!!! the man had type 2 diabetes and time and time again it's been proven to be preventable if we take care of ourselves(exercise, eat right)!!!

  • having type 2 diabetes may lead to blindness, kidney failure, and probably the inability to walk!!! there's no doubt in my mind that he was a man of GOD, but what i'm saying is that he didn't have to die like that!!!! this could have totally been prevented!!! yes, you can be in the best state of health and still die, but i don't wanna die like he did!!!

  • SOME PEOPLE MAY HAVE HEALTH PROBLEMS THAT CAUSE THEM TO HAVE WEIGHT GAIN, SO WHO ARE WE TO SAY "HE DID THIS TO HIMSELF? Just for the record, I developed diabetes when I was pregnant, and I excercised EVERY SINGLE DAY. Where did yo get your medical degree?? Do you have on?? I STILL SAY PRAISE GOD FOR REV. JAMES MOORE, A SOLDIER OF THE LORD RESTING IN PEACE while you sitting here passing judgement.

  • Okay. Regardless of whether his illness was self-inflicted, the fact of the matter is that in spite of his illness, HE WAS A MAN OF GOD, AND IN THE MIDST OF HIS ILLNESS, HE STILL BLESSED THE NAME OF THE LORD AND STILL GAVE GOD THE PRAISE IN SPITE OF AFFLICTION. How dare you talk about one of God's children?? And how do we know he did this to himself?? WHEN THE LORD IS READY TO TAKE YOU HOME, YOU COULD BE IN THE BEST OF HEALTH, BUT WHEN THE LORD IS READY, HE IS READY. I'M PRAYING FOR YOU.

  • I will bless the Lord at all times!! I can feel God moving...

  • I LOVE this Mans spirit even through he could have been using his mouth to complain, he used it to give GOD glory!!!!

  • to shatim1016:

This is what older people in the church should do. They should give God praise instead of complaining about your body pains. The early great Rev. James Moore was a good example.

  • I never had the blessing of seeing him in person or meeting him.

  • You missed a treat!! James Moore was awesome!!!

  • to latinjazzlover7:

Seeing Rev. James Moore live was a true blessing. He changed the way I look at musical ministry. Rev. James Moore sang and filled the entire auditorium with the power of the Holy Ghost. He had people all over the auditorium slain under the anointing.

  • Begin a young Black man still trying to find my this is one man that touches my spirt everytime i listen to him. I only wish i would benn bless enough to meet him

  • oooh Jesus. Never in my life have I heard a testimony as strong as this one. Every time I watch this I cry even more than I did the last time. We as a people take so much for granted in this life. Here it is, Rev. Moore lost his sight, and his ability to walk and sickly in his body BUT still preaching and giving God glory. Sometimes we get lazy and don't even want to lift our hands and give God praise. To God be the GLORY. Hallelujah.

  • They missed the message waiting for a sermon! SOMEBODY SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A BREAKTHROUGH!

  • My Brother in Christ, we--as ministers--realize that the message is oftentimes not received by everyone at the same time. We are to plant the seeds in the soil...the time of growth and maturation depends on the faith of those who received the seed. With that said, I GUARANTEE someone DID RECEIVE A BREATHTHROUGH, which means those who wanted to receive the message did receive the message--regardless of denomination.

BTW, I like the music on your page.

  • to fstanley35:

Yeah, everybody likes the music on minjcj1961's page. He got songs by the early great Rev. James Moore. Please continue to post video of this Holy Ghost filled man. It would be great if you posted more video of him playing the organ and preaching.

  • @fstanley35 I agree, i always hear, the "Spirit" was high, God's spirit is always high, its our reception to that spirit that fluctuates! I always wondered how a high note, or a persons testimony or shout brings on emotions as they do, and its because those high notes, testimony and shouts increases our reception to the spirit. Harden not ur hearts! thats what the word says! ;-)

  • If ANYONE has the vidoe of james more singing the worship songs "ABLE," "Lord I Come" " I can do all things through Christ" from a church in California back in the 80s or early 90s please post it!!! I promise you all, it is absolutely the most anointed video of James Moore you will ever see. I lent it to one of the saints and they would not give it back. That tape is sooo powerful......... I want to do bodily harm to my sainctified friend! LOL They "claim" they lost it. I hate the devil! LOL

  • man....i dont know what these folk are thinking, but when you see a miracle like that; i would be running all through that church!

  • I don't need the church watchin James Moore I can run through my home! nothin like the anointing

  • what in the world!!!!! that church should have been shouting when he got up out that wheel chair, and started to walk. MY GOD JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yall Would Have Been Picking Me and My

Father Up Off The Floor For This One

  • What tha Jesus????!!!! Oh naw, they too dignified for me. I would have toe it up in there!!!! My goodness

  • what year was dis

  • 1998

  • Man I had to get up and run for him. My GOD, what a mighty God we serve. My feet want be still. Thank you Jesus, Halleujah

  • I know that's right! The awesomeness of God. He's amazing....HE IS MY LIfe~AND I LOVE HIM~AND I SERVE HIM!

  • to baldyblackboy23 :

You can feel the power of the Holy Ghost through this video. This man was highly anointed.

  • THANK YA ! GO HEAD REV.

  • if the congrgation was cogic, they would have torn the church up!!!!!

  • Baptists are something else sometime and I am one so I should know. I always tell people I adhere to baptist but I worship cogic style lol

  • them negroes shoulda been runnin in there!

  • They don't wanna praise him. I watched this video at least 40 times already and I'm at home going crazy. I recite this to myself during the day. I love the way he moans at 4:36 .

  • Where is the feedback from the congregation? Don't know if its just me or not, but it doesn't seem like they're not into it. As much annointing this man of God has, that church should of been up praising God

  • There is simply NONE like him! Truly one of a kind, one of the greatest vocalists EVER regardless of genre!

  • This man became more powerful when he began to go through sickness! He was an awesome man of God! I said it before and I'm saying it again, there will never be another like him.

  • I saw him preach live in a wheelchair. He had everyone slain in the Holy Ghost. The anointing was very very strong.

  • I LOVE THAT!!! What the Devil Stole from me he can have it!! because God's got something BETTER!!!. Rev James Moore was a TRULY ANOINTED VESSEL OF THE LORD. RIP RJM. SEE U WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN!!!

  • I LOVE THAT ALSO!!! The devil can have it! Jesus allowed the devil to take Job's possessions so He can give him DOUBLE!!!

  • nvm...I should of watched the whole video 1st.

  • He wasn't blind was he?

  • He lost his sight towards the end of his illness.

  • when did Rev. James die??

  • He did in 2000

  • when James starts walking, I can literally feel chills run over me

  • I think his anointing was very strong because he went through a lot of trials and did a lot of praying.

  • boi i really miss this guy....Preach rev....PREACH...

  • I enjoy hearing him moan (4:36). "...but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8: 26)."

  • thank u jesus for james moore he encourage me to keep on going his song god will take care of u is my favorite song and R.I.P. james moore I see at the meeting.

  • When Rev. James Moore sings "God Will Take Care of You," it increases your faith and gives you the assurance that God will take care of you.

  • PLEASE post more of Rev. James Moore's sermons and songs. This man was filled with the Holy Ghost.

  • Please post more of Rev. JAMES MOORE. This man was Highly Anointed. You had to hear him preach and sing live. When I saw him live he filled the entire auditorium with the presence of the Holy Ghost.

  • James Moore was highly anointed. His music was highly anointed. Many people give testimonies about how they listened to his music and received the Holy Ghost

  • James James James what a humdinger

  • MAN this brings back memories! James Moore appeared at several musical programs at my old church many, many years ago!

  • To MarcAngeloD :

You said that "James Moore appeared at several musical programs at my old church." Please post the video of Rev. James Moore if you have it.

  • Jesus is soooo faithful and worthy to be praised...man oh man Jesus is GOD all by himself..
