Make sure you turn off hard-limiting when you record this stuff so the sound stays true to being live.

Same here I have been saying this since Actraiser came out back in 1991. One the best video game soundtracks of all-time. Also is it me or was Yuzo a Clash of The Titans fan because a lot of his music of Actraiser sounded just like CotT. When the Kraken appears towards the end it sounds like the stage of Death Helm & last battle boss theme. Also when the Kraken gets destory by Medusa and breaks into chunks to the sea the music sounds like the Death Helm clear music.
