Whew, this brings back memories of my childhood. I remember it took me AGES to get the hang of this game, the individual minigames were NOT easily explained and that music just kept getting stuck in my head. It's great music, but by the time I finished the thing, I never wanted to hear another note. Many rage-quits.

I loved this game as a kid. The graphics are pretty impressive for a DOS game. Especially the closing animation!

I'm the same age as you.. I remember playing this game so much, I loved both the movie and the game.

I could never figure out the kitchen game -so I mostly played the easy "memory-one in the garden. That way, I could easily get to see Belle and The Beast dance in the end :-)

I've been able to download it on RGB Classic Games.

However I can't launch the game. On the DEMO text file, it says : " Start the playable demo by typing "DEMO".

So I did. But now I have an error message : " this system does not support fullscreen mode. Choose 'close' to terminate the application".

How did you do to make it work?

@clemlimo you know you have to run it in dosbox right? look on youtube there are some good tutorials

AAAAHHH i loved this game as a kid! :D i hated the dress part because it took so freaking long... and the kitchen part because i'd ALWAYS mess up! LOL man, nostalgia hits like a bitch.. thanks for the vid :D

HAHA this was one of my fav games as a kid. Glad wasn't the only guy that enjoyed it. Do you know where I could find it? I looked everywhere for a ROM or something. You know where I could find it? I remember it was called Beauty and the Beast: Be our Guest I'm pretty sure. I remember all the floppys haha

While I dont remember this game, (I was a little *too* young at the time - 4 years old!) I have to say this is a good looking game for the time. Around this point I was playing Mickeys Alphabet Chase I believe haha

That stained window thing seems to be specially made for this game only rather than a replica of the stained glass window opening in the film. Why couldnt the console games be this good? : (

Oh man! I still have this game installed on my old IBM back at my Nans house. One of the earliest pc games I used to play. Booting up the computer and typing in 'cd beauty' in dos. Nostalgia.
