i tryed country dumplings recipe a simple meal they were filling and tasty so easy to make 1/2 bacon choopped fryed with one chopped onion add tomato sauce and garlic and for the dumplings u can use a biscut mix , mix in chopped fresh basil they used butter in the dumpling dough but oil is better after form balls and place them in the tomato sauce to cook with lid on it doesnt take long for them to simmer i guess you can add what you like to the sauce for taste
