If God is going to punish her then why bother arresting her? A good gauge I use to see how like Christ I am....is i ask, "what does it take to push my buttons"? If I have buttons, I need to get rid of them. Remember ..WHILE WE were sining...Christ died for us too......so while she was tearing up ur bible....you needed to still love her and do as Christ, FORGIVE THEM 4 they know not what they do......Thats LOVE

Atheism IS a religion. It is a belief system you hold to by faith. Which is an inconsistent belief system, which borrows from the creationist worldview to even attack the creationist worldview. Atheism or evolution is based upon the uniformity of nature which would only be possible in my worldview. If evolution were true you do not even know you can trust your own reasoning. A righteous God must judge the world, and someone must pay the price for sin. Jesus received the wrath of God in place of man, so we could be saved from damnation. Through Jesus Christ we can be reborn and live a god loving and obedient life and enter the kingdom of heaven.
It all comes down to the fact that God stated that sin would be punished with death, only by Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) experiencing a sinless existence and excruciating pain for our sin could save us

For christmas i gave my neices and nephews a page out of my bible ...I tore out luke 1 romans 8 rom.14 luke3 haggai 1 .....they were somewhat shocked at it and some said "gee thanks "..An old bible beats handing out tracts any day ..ask people if they read their bibles and if they say yes ask them what book they like ??? and then rip them out a page ...It gets their attention Here's some ezekial for you ...opps some other girl got it all .why have 20 old broken backed bibles on a shelf???

In america we are supposed to have the right to share belief and if you infringe on someones rights the law should step in. Laws of logic and just the way the universe is. There's no need to account for them. I don't see YOU explaining them either; after all, "god did it" is hardly an explanation. It's a dodge of the question.
As for ethics, it neither has anything to do with religion OR this debate in general.

The uniformity of nature comes from the Christian worldview. In an atheistic worldview, chaos ie: the big bang "created" everything. So why should things be the same today as they were yesterday or tomorrow? In your worldview uniformity of nature would be inconsistent. Why would chaos produce order and uniformity? There is too a need to account for them. What they just popped out of thin air? "Thats just the way it is" is not an explanation. God is logical and thus is the author of logic.

Second, no, the big bang does NOT mean it created the universe, it was simply an event as far back as we can see which led our universe to the state it is in by a rapid expansion. What (if anything) was before that is unknown and unclaimed by science. A basic understanding of cosmology would tell you this.

We cannot see causation. All we observe is succession. You would say because of the CMB that proves a big bang. But meaning is imposed upon the facts not derived.There could be another explanation you know? So unless you know all the facts of the universe you don't even know if you have the facts in the right relation. If in your naturalistic worldview there is no intelligible way to explain ethics. In fact you could not even believe in free will, because if all your thought are are chemical reactions produced by evolution you must think and obey without question. Yet when you go out in public you expect people to respect your personal space, you go about your day doing uniform things like driving, shopping, conversing, and non mateirial reasoning, and logic.

So repent and turn to Jesus to escape the judgment, holy hatred, and wrath of God on sinners who reject His love and mercy. God want all men to be saved, but He gives us free will to choose. That is somewhat true. I think freewill is a ridiculous idea. And yes, to some degree no one is truly at fault for their actions, however that is largely irrelevant in reality. If you don't punish people for things then they never learn and our society would crumble.
It seems you're implying that without the bible you would be a murdering, raping criminal. I think that says more about you than I.
Morality is a survival mechanism, a result of humans phenomenal cooperation.

Free will is an illogical concept. It implies that our actions arent part of cause and effect, which is blatently untrue. Just because we are technically destined to do something doesn't mean doing it is pointless. Or, perhaps it means everything is ultimately pointless. Regardless, the concept has zero practical application.

Metaphysics deal with the nature of reality. In an atheist worldview your metaphysic is naturalism. Meaning only the physical exists, no spirit, no supernatural, no laws of logic, nothing imaterial exists. As a Christian my metaphysic is supernaturalism. God created the heavens and the earth. What was the first cause of the universe in your worldview? If you believe it caused itself, that would be a miracle which is not cause and effect. What was the first cause in your worldview?
