  • I NEVER KNEW!

  • RIP Mako

  • heyyy IROH too has blue lightening power like AZULA...

  • @MrStark899 Way more power than Azula

  • @Superiorer azula rocks

  • @MrStark899 In a crazy and scary way.

  • @Superiorer yeah.....

but tylee is far more cute and bubbly than azula

  • 00:34 is ozai

  • the foolish samurai is zuko...

but how zuko can oppose aku(iroh) who is the only person who cares about him

  • I loved Mako, may he RIP, but this video is just terrible...

  • I miss Mako Iwamastu so much its not even funny.

  • how did he die!?!?! D': im so sad, he was AWESOMESAUSE

  • Long ago in a distant land, I, Iroh, the tea drinking master of fire bending, unleashed an unspeakable ham. But, a foolish air-bending Avatar wielding a Flying Bison, stepped forth to oppose me.

Before the final blow was struck, I froze him in a giant iceberg, and flung him into the future. Where Ozai's evil is law. Now the fool seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is OZAI.

  • @abridgeduploader That's just perfect LMAO.

  • Aku would have been the perfect fire lord/phoenix king

  • Genius

  • great

  • Is that why they're not continuing either series? What would we do without a villain of UNSPEAKABLE evil, and a lovable uncle iron. I loved both shows and am sad to think of never seeing a new episode of either :( ....... R I P - mako

  • @FanTuckingFastic What? No. They continued Avatar for like, two seasons, they just gave Iroh another voice actor. The creators are making another series, Avatar: The Legend of Korra, to pick up where the finale for the A:tLA left off.

I'm not sure about Samurai Jack though. News about a movie to finish the series has been flying around for ages, but I don't know if it's still in production or not.

  • @TheDoctorofOdoIsland new avtar when and where and who is korra no more ang he was raw i would luike to see how much stronger he can get

  • @laahah1 Just look it up. Everyone is talking about it.>__>

  • @TheDoctorofOdoIsland don't feel liek it <_<

  • @laahah1 yes the new series is called as avatar the legend of korra which takes place after 60 to 70 years after the defeat of ozai by aang.the next avatar KORRA who is a water bender by birth has master all 3 elements and seeks to master airbending as opposite to first part where aang knows airbending and tries to find masters of other elements.she then finds aang and katara's son who knows airbending and starts training meanwhile fights a group of anti-benders.

  • @laahah1 anti-benders uses chi to block benders capability to bend....

this event takes place in republic city -a city build by former avatar aang and firelord zuko in support of friendship.this series is going to take place in 26 episodes and is supposed to release in april 2012 approximately..........

  • ...was beloved by all

  • Iroh: You know, Prince Zuko: destiny is a funny thing!

    Aku: HAHAHAAA!!!

    Best part! :D

  • Mako is also an accomplished martial artist. Had a fight scene with Bruce lee himself in a classic episode of the green Hornet, and in a film called Battle Creek Brawl, he played master to Jackie chan in a very humurous "mock fight" scene. Before I saw that movie i did not know he was that practiced a martial artist and quite flexible too! Back in the day anyway. he will be missed! RIP!

  • Mako is the best voice actor ever

  • "You know Prince Zuko, destiny is a funny thing."

    "HA HA HA HA HA!

  • 2:22

    wait what?

when did Aku ever say that?

  • Wait a minute, one of those was from "Samurai Quack," and episode of "Duck Dodgers."

  • Comment removed

  • RIP Mako

  • "It is Impossible..." duhh look at what shoes you got on, he tryna climb the mountain with chankalas on . xD

  • 2:24 O.o.... Zuko what happened to your voice.

  • Awesome

  • RIP Mako : \

  • "Why don't u join me for a walk?"

    *Jack's dead*

"Oh, just sit in yur room and sulk, whatver makes u happy"

    *Still dead*

    BEST PART XD

  • nice work

  • iroh and aku were done by the same actor in season 1 of avatar then mako iwamatsu (the voice actor died) thats why their is a segment on the episode "tales of ba sing se" in irohs story for in honor of mako

  • @305aggron Actually he made it through season 2 as well, he died after finishing his voice work

  • FUNNY IS THERE MORE

  • or just stay in your room and sit in the dark XD

  • the first :50 were amazing, after that you lost me

  • Ah, rest in peace, Mako.

  • 2:22 starwars/samurai jack spoof!!!! #LOL

Blessings to Mako!!! may the allmighty rest his soul!!!▐▐▐

  • rofl... AND GREAT FLAMING EYEBROWS

  • 1:08 LMAO

    they sound so different though

maybe its cuz he's trying to soud evil as aku

  • EPIC!!

  • Only thing is, it wasn't Mako who said "You know, Prince Zuko, destiny is a funny thing." That was Greg Baldwin, Mako's replacement.

  • It's not a SJ episode. It's a Duck Dodgers spoof of Samurai Jack.

  • Which SJ episode was the audio from 2:30 from? When Aku says "Join me, and we will rule the galaxy as father and son!" I've seen all the SJ episode, but I don't recall Aku telling Jack this.

  • lol the begining was EPIC

  • Is there anything higher than 5 stars?

  • lol aku should say like this "step forth to propose" haha

  • Mako's voice was more epic than epicness.

  • Mako Iwamatsu was a fantastic actor, and his voice was instantly recognizable. Keone Leung tried to imitate Mako when Voicing the Narrater in the PS2 games Mark of Kri and Rise of the Kasai.

Go check out the Conan movies again. Mako plays Akiru the Wizard. He's awesome.

  • Great flaming eyebrows!

  • i just finished watching all 3 seasons again this week, i love iroh

i'm so depressed he's gone, he was amazing! :'(

    i'm at a loss....what brilliant talent

  • RIP dude. Your work shall not be forgotten. Lafontaine is in good company!

  • I actually never noticed that...atleast i do now...im just sad that he died... :'(

  • oh man, that was pretty good hahah

    Rest in peace, Mako

  • lol I loved that episode where Aku was telling the story to the lil kids XD

  • Mako is the Japanese James Earl Jones

  • Mako = Awesomeness

    R.I.P

  • GREAT FLAMING EYEBROWS

honestly though, mako was such an awesome actor

  • omg i never knew that he did the same voice as aku!!! XD

Rest in peace, you shall forever be missed and long as the sakura blossoms bloom

  • lol Duck Dodgers

  • Well I guess I'm going to have to watch Avatar now.

  • Mako <3

  • I met Phil LaMarr at a convention recently (the voice of Samurai Jack) and asked him what it was like to work with Mako. He said it was a learning experience because he only had that once voice but when he played different characters he would not change his voice but his essence. That's why Aku and Iroh sound the same yet very different. It literally took me months to realize that Mako voiced Iroh. That's true mastery of voice acting if you ask me.

  • Awesome video. Mako is a genius, he will be greatly missed. He contributed to , in my opinion, the best two series ever created.

  • shit he died!?

    !?

  • R.I.P. Mako

  • He will be missed. Mako is practically the greatist voice actor that I ever heard, and who has ever lived!

  • OMG! I never realized Mako also voiced aku! He is so awesome! R.I.P.

  • I don't know how anyone couldn't know this. :P

  • HAPPY CAT SAY WAKE UP! HA HA HA!

  • sooo..the tearing of his clothes change at 1:46 and 1:53.

  • That was some awe.

  • R.I.P. Mako <3

  • aw i never new he died:( that explains near the end of avatar his voice sounded different

  • actually mako only did iroh for book one and two,(they even did a in loving memory thing for him in the tales of ba sing se episode of book two) all of book 3 was some other guy

  • You almost never saw Iroh in Book 3 so i did not think about it that much.

Maybe they reduced Irohs role in the show after Mako died. :(

  • Yeah, he only speaks in approximately 3 episodes during Book 3, and they intentionally do all his stuff at the start of the season in silence. The replacement does a good impersonation, but it's just not the same.

  • Greg Baldwin. He was a student of Mako's.

  • Mako Iwamatsu was an awesome voice actor. May he rest in peace. He was also in an episode of "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!" but I don't remember which one.

  • Where did 2:22 come from?The audio

  • It came from "Samurai Quack", a Duck Dodgers spoof on Samurai Jack.

  • That was hilariously brilliant! I love both the shows- and Mako is the best! Thanks!

  • Awesome. Pure genius!

  • No, he died after recording the 2nd season of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Samurai Jack ended long before then.

  • LOL

  • Haha, portal in time, a broken cage

  • wow, I didn't realize I was such a funny thing..(2:37) xD

    <3 Iroh

  • lol i love this its creative

  • RIP

  • JACK Rules! OWN!!!! LIVE THIS Cartoon! yay!!

  • lol! I remember Samurai Jack!

  • Boy, this is the shit. How can you not like something like this.Aku+Iroh...just to see Iroh's words in Aku's mouth and vice versa is crazy, funny and yet still kosher.

    10/10

  • Wow.

  • Mako just wasn't a great voice over actor, he was a great supporting actor in general. One of those that you immediately notice. He was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in the Steve McQueen Classic "The Sand Pebbles". He also had a memorable fight scene with Bruce Lee in an episode of The Green Hornet. Anytime I can mention Mako, Steve McQueen & Bruce Lee in the same comment, I will.

  • now see i think an actor has to be at least somewhat like the character he's playing. I know they call it acting for a reason, but i am personally pissed off about the 'jesse McCartney playing zuko' monstrousity!!!!

  • OMG YOU MEAN THE VOICE ACTOR OF IROH DIED! Then how did they make the 2007-2008 episodes!

  • "You know that plant I thought might be tea?"-older man

    "You didn't!" -kid

"I did, and it worked."-old man

    (kid gasps)

    Best Lines EVER!!!!

  • @VidarTheSilent

    Actually it's "I did. and it WASN'T!"

  • OH GOD!!

    I CANT UNHEAR ITT!!

    NOOOOO!!!

  • ROFLMAO!!!

    *Can't stop laughing...

  • "become my apprentice samurai." Which episode of Samurai Jack was that from?

  • It's from a Duck Dodgers spoof of Samurai Jack, "Samurai Quack".

  • did Mako do a Voice is of one of the Chracters in Duck Dodgers?

  • Just in this one episode. He played "Achoo", a spoof of Aku.

  • i see.

  • @astawretawt

I believe he also voiced Duck Dodger's "Happy Cat" alarm clock, throughout the series.

  • So funny! Shame that Mako died...

  • i laughed so hard at the destiny part.

    good vid! =D

  • lmao, mako could make his characters so funny, lota eps of aku were hilarious

  • it's sad he died two years ago from throat cancer.

  • that gave me a good laugh.

    im such a nerd.

  • lol omg this video is awsome!

  • They also both have Phil LaMarr (Jack, and the Earth King)

  • destiny is a funny thing...

    HA

    HA

    HA

  • lol!
