Hey man, i have been watching your vids and i am thinking of switching over to the GBB scene as i have gotten bored of my aeg really fast. Would you recommend starting with a we m4 or a kjw m4?
@dmullen1994 You'll have less issues with KJW M4 with updated BCG but low recoil. You will need more care and maintenance with the WE M4 series though that goes without saying for most GBBRs.
@riceboy43 Most GBBR upper receivers are threaded the same as milspec uppers. I used to run a Troy MRF 10" on my Inokatsu upper. The MK18 RISII will work with almost all uppers.

The M3X on your gun, does it flash every time you shoot? I've got on on my TM SOPMOD and every time it shoots, the recoil engages the light. Not sure if it's common among the M3X's or if getting a new one or just getting the dual switch will fix it.
@alexm757 I have three Element M3X lights, they all have the same symptom, with or without dual switches. The issue is in the soldering within the units. Recommend you either remove your batteries when not using the light or simply have it covered in the IR Filter.

@dracir098 Stock Conditions: If you are looking for gas conservation and efficiency, go with the AWSS Closed Chambered system. For accuracy, go with the Open Chamber system. You can make the AWSS become reliability accurate with aftermarket items and some custom fitting.
I used to be one of those guys that talked crap about airsoft but that was because i had never seen a high quality rifle like this. Being an avid shoot now it is hard to get out to the range as much as i would like and also it gets quiet expensive. I know see how practical airsoft can be as far as the mechanics of shooting goes. I have yet to feel the recoil of one of these rifles but non the less this seems to be a good alternative for practice. In short these things are actually really cool.
@broshamski check out the video Travis Haley uploaded on his channel on applications of airsoft in training. I recommend using the platform he demonstrated with first before looking at GBBRs as these platforms then to be finicky and may take some work and fixing up to get them to some what a reliable level.
Can you put the Rails from a Aeg to this weapon? And any tips of how to remove the iron front sight? I can't get it off! :P Doesnt come loose when I remove all pins
@leviathan556 Yeah that is true...I barely notice ANY recoil at all when firing mine....but im in it for the reliability. Though recoil would be nice.
@TheDigitalReviewer This is not my rifle, but on my WE-Tech I use the standard Colt Ver3 upper and lower. The magpul one is made by Prime and is top-notch, however the upper is patterned after Ver2 so you will need the corresponding inner barrel nut.

@TheAudioBreaker I can place the video in a "Fluffy Clouds" category and it would not stop it from coming up on your searches. Youtube queries on "tags" when searching. A handy way to strip out airsoft from your searches is using flags to omit search criterias. Try this: "MK18 -airsoft".
that is very cool, I recently purchased a King Arms m4a1, mounted a daniel d rail, m203, magpul moe collapsable stock, I can't figure out how to put on my moe pistol grip... I also hope to get the ra tech npas system, but want to know if it is worth the cash...
With a brand new GBB, is there anything that can be done internally to prevent future damage?
@putag11 You first need to take out the bottom screw in the pistol grip, not they must be speced for GBBRs or Real Steel. NPAS are convenient. You should be fine with a new rifle for several thousand rounds, much longer if properly maintained.

GBBR are the most realistic and I if I had to choose, I would forbid anyone who had a electric speedball airsoft gun, who just spam and cross their fingers that they hit with one of their 10k BB's! Seriously nice rifle, both of you :D
@FlameKaiser2 this term is specific to WE-Tech in the sense that the brass tube is the "closed" bolt and enclosed hopup where as the new system lacks the tube and has an exposed "open" hopup. Outside of We-tech, general firearms definitions of closed bolt applies.

KJW M4 GBBR FTW....By FAR the most reliable GBBR and best gas consumption of any GBBR. You might wanna look into one eventually.
