@chainy10. Yep you are right, just checked the instructions on that very can of compressed air (I still have it). No shaking it and hold upright. I guess I have seen my Dad shake and use a can of WD40 oil once too often ;-)
Do not shake the can.....its part of the instructions of most cans of compressed air. And also don't tilt it. keep it leveled.. Just saying for anyone who does it...hopefully they save there computer by reading my post.

I have never bothered with 'anti-static this' or 'anti-static that' and I have never damaged a computer. Nothing is 100% safe and please don't be so lazy as to expect me to clean your laptop for you. I have an 8 minute video with EXACTLY the information you need.

Ive thot many times to clean my laptops fan but im afraid i might destroy it with static discharge.My AMD laptop gets very hot & i can see dirt on the fan. I dont want to give it to an engineer every 2-3 months. plz tell me what are the steps that i need to follow to clean the fan/heatsink. If i use antistatic wrist strap & a static pad will my laptop be 100% safe? thk you
