Not really. It wasn't completely without exhaust but we got a small downpipe on it. If you use it like this for just a few kilometers sometime, it won't ruin the engine. The bike's still in a perfect working order.

The header pipe length and I.D. make the back pressure. You're fine.

You may notice some performance loss but your engine isnt' going to blow up.

@BKosimenko When you open up the exhaust completely you change the air fuel ratio and the engine will run very lean. The fuel injection will not compensate for the change and your motor can be damaged. You can run your bike like that if you have a programmable system like power commander and can adjust the fuel air mixture to adjust for the new setup.

@rjc0l3 I'm not the one that that's stupid here buddy. This bike isn't carburated. It's fuel injected. All CBR 600s from 2001 and up are fuel injected, stupid.
