The lag is explained via an original fluctuation that eventually lead to feedback loop, and human induced CO2 has tipped the balance and done pretty much the same thing. CO2 is part of a feedback loop. It self-reinforces, and climate shift is both natural AND influenced by extraneous events.

You are dead right on climate change. Bravo! The ethanol movement in the US is the same thing - takes more energy to produce than it provides and using food crops (corn) to do so is hurting the entire globe.
