@xXvolhvXx I'ts not a glitch. Some websites don't accept that you pay with your paypal balance and want you to add a credit card or bank account. If you need further help i would recommend you to go to the customer support on paypal website. Believe me PayPal is safe never had problems.

Well that's the thing about paypal, you can get money put in your paypal... But without a card or bank linked to it you cannot get the money even after confirming your email... Though if you have a reletive or friend with an account linked to whatever they use, i heard you can transfer your funds to that account and have them get your money(send and withdraw it from their bank or whatever). i signed up thinking i might get paypal money from swagbucks, but since i can't do it i stuck to amazon.

-send the money with "warrancy", so you can get the money back up to 40 days after sending it.

Well that's the thing about paypal, you can get money put in your paypal... But without a card or bank linked to it you cannot get the money even after confirming your email... Though if you have a reletive or friend with an account linked to whatever they use, i heard you can transfer your funds to that account and have them get your money(send and withdraw it from their bank or whatever). i signed up thinking i might get paypal money from swagbucks, but since i can't do it i stuck to amazon.

@DandAinTac Uhmm, Paypal is perfectly safe. It's just for some reason they ask you have a card signed up, so they know you're a real person with real money just in case you're a fraud. it's for security.
You really shouldn't make a decision not to get paypal based on one person, you need to read about more.

I've been using my credit card that CAN'T go into negative (arranged with the bank) with the payments so if paypal screws things up either it or my bank is going to pay.

your math isn't off it's just paypal and ebay have a positive double scam that forces them to read your credit card them to skim a small monetary amount each month in order to cover their losses of people no longer using their services,they said for paypal you could also buy money paks at places like walgreens and walmart but then if you enter the amount its just sitting there because your spending limit wont go up until they verify and then skim from your bank or credit card,dont trust them

yeh when u sold whatever it is u sold, paypal gets scared that the buyer may ask for a refund and they use your paypal balance as hostage funds in case that happens, that is why they ask you to add a credit card to purchase something. Smart on their part to protect their ass on the internet since they arent a bank and the buyer can charge back the item for a refund if they choose to do so. But you are right, paypal really needs to work out the kinds and come up with a better way...

well, you did not make further research. PayPal is a non-face to face business and for you to be able to start with your online transactions, you should be verified. Through verification process they would know if you are really for onine transactions, they would also know if you are the legit account holder. after you add a card, you will be charged for some amount. The charge willl be associated with a code that youu could go online to provide those information.
