Alexander was macedonian not Greek. He fought like a Greek because people fought in that area in a similar way, using Hoplites, archers and cavalry etc. Macedonia was independant from the Greek's when the Athenians had their Empire/ Delian League, then they conquered all of Greece when the empire collapsed, so the FYROM can call themselves Macedonians if they wish as it was not a "GREEK PART". Also this group was great and it sucks that they didn't get in the final, 80s Rock music was great!

Well argued mate :) I was not aware of the current situation with FYROM, I thought the current macedonians were the original ones...if what you say is true then I apologise for my lack of modern knowledge. I was told that Polis basically meant city which was why I used it for Melos. Regardless of history/ethnicity whatever the songs is still good, shame it didn't get in. Also sorry Greece didn't get that far, the song was ok, didn't feel Greek more like a generic modern song but still ok :)
