  • Does anyone else feel like its Ironic that she miss matched her socks, now everyone pretty much does XD. Teenagers do anyways, Im pretty sure she started it. -nodd nodd-

  • does she get her sight back? i cant remember

  • i admire her... i think if something like that happened to me i would break down

  • OMGGGG I LOVE this movie!! I always have and always will. <3 I cry every time I watch it too. LoL I'm such a sap!

  • aaw what a sad movie :'-(

  • Ok, so i need the violin song at 7:14 PLEASE!!!!! I CANT SLEEP AFTER I HEARD IT!!!

  • You know it really pisses me off when asshats like you people go and ruin a good movie jeez take a comment to far much......D:

  • @LibertineBathory That's EXACTLY what I wanted to say, you assfucking wanker! Yeah please die you ugly silly butt face! You're as dumb as a cow, you piss drinking, hairy hemorrhoid!

  • @LibertineBathory Oh please go and die you fucking asshole! You have not the smallest clue, so don't talk crap, you son of a bitch. You're a nosey parker, so piss of you fucking bastard. Screw you, I really, really hope somebody will come and kill you slowly and cruel.

"The horses sometimes dived four times a day, seven days a week. There are allegations of using prods, electrical jolts, and trap doors to get unwilling horses to dive." That's a real story! And the horses suffered in reality!

  • @Schlimmification Some of the shows did that, but not all of them. The SPCA went after the Carvers but could not shut them down becaue they could find NOTHING WRONG with the way they treated their horses. Look it up. Gosh, ignorance. And you hoping that someone would kill them slowly and cruelly is a reflection of how you treat humanity. And THAT my friend, is wrong!

  • @crosscountrytc Man, you're very naive. You can't tell me that it's not a bad abuse making horses diving into a pool from that high. And even if they jumped voluntarily: Do you really think it's a natural way they were kept? Do you think they had a paddock? Or enough space to run and being a horse? Sometimes they dived four times a day, seven days the week. In these days it was normal that horses lived in very little boxes with no fresh air. Because they were there to work.

  • @Schlimmification I've done my homework on this subject. The Carvers let their horses out and treated them with the utmost respect and love. As I told you, the SPCA investigated them and could find nothing wrong. Do you think the SPCA would not have taken into account what you have spoken about? It's public record, I encourage you to do some research and look the case up. I have a question, do you ride? Do you enjoy equestrian events? Horse races?

  • @crosscountrytc This film has nothing to do with the reality, you know? Ah I hate people who thinks they can make horses happy with a little bit of love and let them out a few hours every day. That's unnatural! Hello!

  • @Schlimmification And another question, do you wear Nike shoes? Wal Mart shoes? Do you speak about the injustice to other human beings, making an eight year old kid slave for 20 hours in a hot factory for a few pennies a day? It's not natural for a child to work like that. It's not natural, by your definition, for a horse to even be ridden in the first place. If horses are supposed to run wild and free, don't you ride one again.

  • @crosscountrytc No I don't wear Nike shoes. Or Wal Mart shoes. I don't eat meat, eggs or drink milk. And no I don't ride horses. I don't enjoy equestrian events. Don't talk with me as if I'm a consumption fixed kid that "loves" animals. Who spoils his pets and eats meat from unbelievable badly treated cows and pigs. Don't judge me, you don't know me. It's important to think a bit more. I would have a guilty conscience if I did these things. But if you can live with it, just go, do it!

  • :( i always cry! :(

    BUT I LUV THIS!

  • @slf98 Me too!

  • @slf98

I feel sorry for this image, video. SONORA, she is blind. Life must be hard for her. :(

  • aww dear of her. i cant belive the bitch came back

  • Even though she went blind Sonora did'nt let it stop her from doing what she wanted to do which was diving horse and people telling her that it could'nt be done

  • I feel bad for Sonora but i think it's good that shes trying to horse dive again.

  • Blindness is the just punishment for animal abusers!

  • @Pfefferkatze It's not animal abuse.

  • @caylorblanton Oh sorry, I forgot that horses love to fall from nearly 60 feet high into water. It's so natural for them, you mast be a true animal expert.

  • Damn, she took it so much better than Mary Ingalls when she went blind. So much more calm and accepting of it, learning to do for herself without a teacher.

  • This movie helped me to believe anything is possible. <3 Thank you.

  • @TayMarieVideos You're welcome! And yes, this movie is very inspirational...

  • This is one of my favortie movies.

  • @rockaholic49 Mine too! : D lol

  • aw i've always like clifford, so loyal to sonora!

  • That is so ridiculous when Marie says "Excuse me honey" and like reaches right in front of her. Who does that??? Why not walk around her?! Come on!

  • ah! i sat down to watch one clip and ended up watching the whole movie! great movie!! :):)

  • what determination!

  • OMGosh! That was so freakin' scary! Please tell me that "Sonorrah" gets her sight back eventually ...

  • i hate it when she goes blind, but im so happy that she kept going!

  • I LOVE AL

  • hahaha he wants to show snora something when she is BLIND. duh what a dummy.

    love the movie though :)

  • @tay0951

she can still hear and cliffard knew that al would tell her what he was doing. it's what everyone says...(i want you to SEE something) even the blind say it to eachother.

  • Mr. Schnieder is such a jerk!!! All he thinks about is money, when someone has been hurt!!! I understand that it's the Great Depression, but when someone is hurt, that is NOT the time to think about money!!!

  • im so ticked that shes blind :( i was like... crud!!! when it said she was blind :(

  • He Really, Trully Loves Her. If Only Every Girl Had Someone Like That.

  • Oh my gosh i was just thinking that. :) Amazing if there was only guys like him. :)

  • Al the guy is in th emovie Mermaids.. Cher ,winona ryder and christina ricci.

    they guy who winona likes

  • omg he truely loves her so much <3

  • GODD hes so hotttttt

  • the guy who plays al is in the outsiders i think

  • No, he isn't. But he looks like Matt Dillon, who is in the outsiders. i thought the same thing at first too.

  • lol great minds think alike....i think

  • that guy, al, is sooo cute

  • Did they not have swimming goggles in those days???Wait, the dude on the motorcycle should have loaned her a pair. Maybe eye protection was not common sense then?I know its a movie, but a little sense would have prevented her blindness:)

  • it was based on a true story and goggles would have only injured her from impact

  • If you wear goggles when you jump of off a board at that high of an altitude, and land in water deep enough that a relatively tall horse is submerged, the pressure change can pop your eyeballs out.

  • i'd love to punch that jerk in the eyes.

  • Why did they stop making movies like this???

  • Comment removed

  • I'm probably way wrong but in National Velvet, isn't the mother Samona? I vaguely remember the mother showing Velvet the pictures of her diving. Ahh! I'm a bit confused.

  • @IcyMaking The Mom in National Velvet was a swimmer. I believe she swam the English Channel.

  • @waterlilyqueen Omg! DUR! I knew that. XP

  • this is real story, based off the real girl, and when the movie was made, she was over 90 years old. So she got to hear the movie, but not see it vv

  • Poor Sonora.

  • damn. ..and to think i cant find a hot, NICE guy.. i think they dont exist!

  • they are out there, Most of them like me are still looking for that right one to come along =)

  • Oh shes blind! Thats what happened to that girl in real life.

  • Well, at least she got to see how hot her boytoy is and when they get old she'll still remember the young hot man she married and not the old wrinkly one...lol

  • ha ha!!!!!!

  • wtf is she blind

  • Yes she is blind. During one of her dives her eyes were open when she hit the water, causing her to go blind.

  • who became a carpenter

  • I hate that guy named John Slater. She gets hurt, & all he can think about is the money. I know it's the Great Depression, but come on! He looks like he's making pretty good money by the looks of his suits. The guy is an egocentric- rich snob!

  • I can't argue with your comment b/c I feel you are absolutely right! Thanx for your comment and for watching! : )

  • @tjk200081 i know it is like he doens't care about people

  • I thought I had missed a part thanks! :)

  • You're quite welcome. I am glad I could be of some help. : )

  • I love the part where he says " I am marrying you because I love you." He sounds so sincere like you know he means what he says.

  • Yes, Al does seem in the moment.. I love that scene too as well as many others in this film... : )

  • what ever happend to michael?? I have not heard him name said or seen his face in so long!

  • I think he became a carpenter....

  • Yep, I heard that too. He wanted to get away from the Hollywood lifestyle. He already knew how to make furniture, so he started his own carpentry business.

  • UGH! I hate that lady who thinks she's so 'popular' and only is doing it for money and for people.

  • Yeah, the old diving girl wasn't very nice at all...

  • dou have #10????

  • It only goes up to 9. Clip 9 is the conclusion to this great film.

  • Is that Jake Ryan from Sixteen Candles?

  • Yes, yes it is.

  • and he is hot hot hot

  • " you know what that is? death and I just defied it"

  • One of the great quote's of this film. Love it! :)

  • brings tears to ure eyes

  • I know! It looks everything is going so horribly wrong for Sonora & Al. First, Al's pop dies, Sonora goes blind, and Al get's pressured by his agent regarding the show... So sad :(
