all of you people who have broken xenons, it is because you guys dont know how to take kare of a phone. i have the xenon and the samsung flight 2 which is the upgrade to the impression, and the xenon has better threaded text messaging and the menu sysyem is 1000000 times better

Well, the LG Xenon is discontinued now. I have a Xenon and broke it, and insurance is replacing it with an Impression. Impression is bigger and def nicer. However, the Impression is not worth double the price of the Xenon!
Btw, the LG Xenon used in this video was horrible. The touchscreen on my Xenon was incredible and super responsive..unlike the one used in the video.

On the samsung impression it has a multitask button on the side you have to look for it and it has a button Smy. where you get all the symbols you need! when u take shots in the dark with the samsung impression when the picture comes it it brightens itself kinda so u can acutally see the figure. You just need to go through them carefully and not just do this when you first have them... The impression is still the best outta them. The Xenon was lagging so much the impression barely lags!
btw u can multi task on the impression by pressing the side button can go to music the net, phone calls, and games, also lets u close all you applications
Im getting the IPhone 4 this week. I have the Xenon. I have had it for a yr. It was a great phone but it had problems. I didnt like the internet experience. I mean sometimes it was hard to get the zoom button and others to come out. 2, after a while anytime I just closed the keyboard the phone would just shut off completly. and ever once in a while I wuld have to recailbrate it. It has slow response sometimes when touch. The camera is also very slow in response when you take pictuers.
Hey dude, you also should have shown the inboxing in both phones because the xenon has a stealer package with each contact you have a conversation with gives a different file. This helps to see the hole conversation you had with that person.

i had both phones and the lg xenon was slow and hard to use, i love my impression and have had it for almost a year and it is still working fine, the screen color is amazing its like HD :))) i vote the lg impression
i had the xenon before i had the impression. to be honest, i hated both. the xenon was stubborn, and the impression was slow and i had i usually have messaging problems. i got myself a blackberry after, and i had no problems.
idk i have had both and i liked how the xenon is set up, the menu system is 100x better. plus the impression has weird problems with sending messages. at least twice a day it will get stuck when im trying to send a message and i have to turn it off and back on for it to work. everyone that i know with it has the same problem.
Also on the shift key, it works fine if you're in text messaging mode. If for example, you're on facebook and you wanna leave a message or update, tapping the shift key once does not work. You have to hit the shift key (or Fn for numbers or characters) twice, to lock it, and twice again to unlock it. Kind of a pain that takes away the advantage of the shift key in the first place. But as I said on text messages it works fine.
I've had the Impression for 6 months, and several keys on the keyboard have become unresponsive, including the space bar, and keys surrounding it. I text maybe a few hundred texts a month max, so I'm not a big texter. But on the unresponsive keys you have to mash hard on those buttons causing them to repeat. I also agree with the review, the key feel is mushy. I spend as much time correcting text as I do texting. Currently considering calling Samsung on their warranty or getting a new phone.

The impression DOES have full multitasking, there's a button on the left side of the phone that you can press at anytime that brings a little pop up with Call,Message,Medianet,music player,apps and games, and end all
So you can be on the net, press the button go to a message go bak to the net and your page is still there.
meh i have a love hate relationship with my impression. its an over all amazing phone, but it has the texting glitch where the whole messaging system kinda goes haywire and you have to turn it off then back on :/
Good video however, the web browser on the xenon went slower because you still had the music player running as it would with the impression. If you had the music player off, the xenon actually is a little bit faster. I had the impression, switched to the xenon.
i got my xenon about a week ago and thats about how long it takes to get used to the qwerty with it... but yes it doesnt freeze sometimes but thats because of the company that your with... like in canada with rogers it will freeze because of the phone company and not the phone itself

Same here, today i just oredered the lg xenon. it should be here in 2 days it said. But i've heard sometimes it freezes depending on if you get lucky or not on the phone you get so... ill see what happens.

but i tested the xenon before i got the impression and the keyboard is really small, and if you're used to pressing the red hang up button to exit out of an application or the screen you're on, it wont respond. :P i love the impression :)

@soitssammi i had both xenon gave me so many problems i had to exchange THREE times in the end the 4th time i got the impression. the ONLY better thing is on the xenon there is a flash. and u can have it on while u record in the dark. which is a major bummer because i absolutely love that feature.

i had the impression and it always froze and the screen would always turn off for no reason but the phone would still be on. i traded in for the xenon and i love it! it has an easier keyboard, lightweight, small, great pictures, easier menu, and comes in different colors!:) i would deffinitally get the xenon!

the xenon isnt as good as the impression because it is a phone based on texting. i have it and the texting is great, the impression isnt so well, but a better web browser
my girlfriend has the zenon, and i have the impression, and granted i have had a few problems with mine, nothing major has happened. I still prefer the impression though

i got my xenon about a week ago and thats about how long it takes to get used to the qwerty with it... but yes it doesnt freeze sometimes but thats because of the company that your with... like in canada with rogers it will freeze because of the phone company and not the phone itself

I will look at the Impression when i get a different phone but im still thinking i will get an Xenon again .... the only reason i dont have it is cause well lets just say people loved it as much as i did n yeah ill leave it at that haha so i would definently buy another Xenon

Same here, today i just oredered the lg xenon. it should be here in 2 days it said. But i've heard sometimes it freezes depending on if you get lucky or not on the phone you get so... ill see what happens.

i got my impression for $299.. haha wow they ripped me off.
but i tested the xenon before i got the impression and the keyboard is really small, and if you're used to pressing the red hang up button to exit out of an application or the screen you're on, it wont respond. :P i love the impression :)

@soitssammi qet the IMPRESSION! i have it and i luv it its a qreat phone and um he never mentioned how the impression has a messaqinq button on the keyboard u just press the envelope n yur automatically at yur messaqinq screen. luv this phone nd about the ppl who have trouble wth the unlock button all u qotta do is slide it up. in my opinion the IMPRESSION IS BETTER but like he said u cant qo wronq with either phone

my xenon is with bell. with a three year contract it cost 49.99, but i got a sale and it was half price for 24.99. i had an impression before this one and i find my xenon way better

@soitssammi i had both xenon gave me so many problems i had to exchange THREE times in the end the 4th time i got the impression. the ONLY better thing is on the xenon there is a flash. and u can have it on while u record in the dark. which is a major bummer because i absolutely love that feature.

@soitssammi but other than that impression WAY better. and as far as the keypad goes xenon hurts ur fingers after a message or two lol the impression still has a click to it and there is cushion for ur fingers! so no pain ♥ impression faster and there is more screen space [personal preference.] i even have a friend with the g1 phone and the impression is way way faster. everyone is always trying to use my phone because of it :]

@thendi23 the maps they still show are not legit. Att does have coverage of 3g in oregon and montana and it is totaly blank on the map that verizon shows.

i had the impression and it always froze and the screen would always turn off for no reason but the phone would still be on. i traded in for the xenon and i love it! it has an easier keyboard, lightweight, small, great pictures, easier menu, and comes in different colors!:) i would deffinitally get the xenon!

my girlfriend has the zenon, and i have the impression, and granted i have had a few problems with mine, nothing major has happened. I still prefer the impression though
