It heals quickly in the mouth, but you should quit touching it with dirty fingers, try rinsing with some peroxide to keep it clean. Probably healed by now, but if it ever happens again.

@tyson The people that said it will heal quickly are right. An easy way to think about it is closer to your heart=faster healing, farther=slower (because better blood flow = Faster healing). So kicking something and breaking your toe, like a friend of mine did, is REALLY slow to heal -- so don't do that :)

Just don't brush that area so much and so hard that you rip it open again, and it should heal quickly.

technically they never stop growing. anyways they should be full size between 16 and 25. there is no specific age of course everyone is different.

mouth cuts/ injuries heal generally quickly... once at baseball practice I was playing 1st and the ball got whipped at me and I missed the ball and it hit me in the mouth (I had braces at the time) and my lip got stuck in one... long story short I pulled it out and it healed with no scar in under 4 days and I think it was much worse than what happened to you....

Usually front teeth stop growing at about 17, but wisdom teeth can grow clear up to age 30. (that's what my ortho said)
