Im using windows 7 and coverting with the beta version so I can make CDs to play in my car. Your method is working well. It is kind of time consuming. Do you know how to import an entire file folder of mp3 into audacity and let the program convert them all automatically into a specified folder?

i put the .wav into hldj and when it plays it sounds really slow and full of bass, i did reduced bass on it but still sounds liek crap no matter what i do

i found one 100 times better and much easier -- i can send you the link ,I am currently using it with youtube but it only holds 3:00 minutes of audio/video per segment i just keep breaking up whatever i want into pieces-- they also work and playback in windows media perfect
