I do not know the exact quote but he says that a sai devotee should see Saibaba in all saints. Also he says that one is sure he /she is in the right path if they experience happiness. If one is already enjoying the happiness with Sai, they will not seek other paths. Do not malign other saints in comments. Saibaba would not have approved it.

Perfectly fine to have feelings of gratitude. Life offers opportunities for those feelings 24x7. Give the gratitude for the Shiva Sutras to Lord Shiva and the Rishis who passed them down. In practice... when I was under Nithyanandas sway... I saw attractive ladies enter Mr. Nithyananda's private quarters with food. And stay there for hours. By importing the cult's logic... I thought this was perfectly fine and that Mr. Nithyananda was doing some cosmic nonsense that was good for the lady and the world. Once I regained my logic, I realized that Mr. Nithyananda perhaps got more than just food, perhaps dinner and a show? Maybe he just chewed his food very slowly.
